Sports and Spine Physical Therapy

I scheduled my appointment the beginning of May, 2018 with "Tiffany". The soonest they could get me in was 11:15 on June 11, 2018. I said I would come early since being a new patient I am sure I need to fill out paper work. She said not to come earlier than 11:15 because the includes time for the paper work, but I would be called in 11:45. The man at the front desk was rude, extolling on how early I was, which was about 11:05. The waiting room was not full, so I was not taking up a seat for somebody else. As it was, I was not called in until 12:05. But, that's not even the problem yet. I met with Physical Therapist, Angel W. She was very knowledgeable, checked many things that could be causing my condition and gave me suggestions of what I could do at home. She said that for now, she would like to see me three times per week, which was fine with me. I
I went up to the man at the desk and he got an attitude and told me he will not schedule me anymore appointments. Why, he didn't say. This was in front of a now full waiting room of people.
I am not saying this is the reason, but I was the only Caucasian person there including patients and therapists. I'm not saying they are racist, but you never know.
And on top of everything, my prescription from my pain management doctor was for Aquatic Therapy. They didn't even have a pool. I asked about that. I was told that they do their Aquatic Therapy at a pool inside of an apartment complex at least two miles away. This is falsely represented as an aquatic facility, which was so inconvenient.
But my real complaint was not with the staff, but the guy at the front desk. When he got so belligerent, I asked if there a manager available. He stood up and said that he is the owner. True or not, I do not know. I did feel it was odd that the "owner" of a facility with at least 10 Therapists present pushing the paper work at taking insurance cards and ID's. I was told by you folks when I called to find out how to file a complaint that the owner's name is Andre R. Whether he was Andre R, I have no idea. I would not recommend that facility to anybody, and I am also going to advise United Health Care, my insurance company of my experience with them. Hopefully they will pass on my experience.
