I bought what is called an Off Loading knee brace, made by the ***,for my left knee. The brace arrived, it was too small, it was returned. I was charged $694.98 for this brace. There was a $10 charge for a return service label which the company emailed to me. I received an email from a person named Kimberly, dated Oct 10, 2019, that per return order *** this brace was received by the company and I would be receiving a refund. The correct size brace was ordered at the same time the first brace was returned and it arrived about 1 1/2 weeks later. I was charged another $694.98 for this 2nd brace. Once I received the correct sized brace and briefly wore it around the house, plus at my ortho MD's office, it was determined this was not going to be the correct brace for me. The brace was returned, again with a $10 shipping label sent to me via email along with the stipulation that there would be a 10% restocking fee. Well, to date, I have received no refund for either brace. The first brace was returned via UPS on Fri, Aug 30, 2019 and received by the co. the following week. The 2nd brace was returned via UPS on Tues. Sept 24, 2019. To add insult to injury, the correspondence I received from Kimberly 10/17/19 in which she stated I would be receiving a refund for the first brace, she stated the 2nd brace was received and returned to *** and per the folks at *** the brace did not pass their quality check and therefore there would be no refund for that brace. *** the brace was barely worn and I have photos of the brace plus my wife, an MD, as witness that there was no damage what so ever to the brace. The only alteration was where I adjusted the straps as best I could to fit my leg. I requested return photos or at least an explanation as to why the brace did not pass the supposed quality check and as yet no reply from anyone. The kicker is, they have both braces and no refund for any of them. I sure as *** am not forking over $694.98 2 times with absolutely nothing to show for it!!
