Member purchased a Family membership December 23rd to Begin January 1stShe paid her first month dues (January)She was charged monthly dues for the first family members, there is no additional charge to add or more family members on to your membership at our clubThe member added on her
spouse and her daughter (age years) and the 4th person male who was not her dependent and was years oldWhen the application for membership was received by bookkeeping office, they contacted the member and explained the family policy to herThe policy per signed contract states, you may add your spouse and or dependents ages 13-years onto your membershipSee copy of contractThe male was offered a discount monthly rate and No Join FeeHe would need to have his own membership , however the member could pay for his dues is she wanted toAt this time, there have not been any changes to the status and fees for their membershipThey are all members in good standing through JanuaryThe member did not agree with the offerShe wanted to cancel her month contract with uswe processed her cancellation notice received January 29th and informed the member February would be the last month they could workout at the clubCancellation Policy is: a written notice days before your draft date which is on the 1st of the monthWe charge a contract buy out fee, which was waivedNo cancellation fee was ever chargedAt this point, we could not find an agreeable outcome with the member, we did not want her to cancel, so we granted her request to keep the 4th person on her family membership for freeShe responded back to discontinue her membership from the original January 29th cancellation noticeWe had already processed that on January 29th at her requestThere have been no additional charges to her account , no buy out fees were charged to break her contract, no cancellation fees were charged, the membership cancellation was processed upon receipt of her first request, and we granted her request to keep the 4th person on her membership for free which she refusedThe membership expired on Feb 28th
