In reference to case # *** *** and *** ***Consumer *** had signed a contract with our
company for services of countertopsOur company has made attempts to *** who is the supplier involved
about ordering Santa Cecilia granite as clients selectedClient informed our company of the expectations
regarding what stone they should receive and how and what the company should incorporate and should
not into their tops before any measurements were even ever takenTwo sets of granite slabs of Santa
Cecilia had arrived at our location in Springfield from the supplier and were shown to the customer
*** upon which on both occasions they were rejected saying it is not the granite they had selected
at ***Our company has no control what the customer sees and puts on hold because ***'s location is
in Lenexa, KansasWe have no authority over *** but to call and order the material from the companyIt
is *** employees who load the slabs, and deliver to their vendors all over the states
*** employees have been known to make mistakes and be careless towards consumersJust because
Mrand Mrs*** goes into their facility to look at slabs and requests certain slabs be sent to the
fabricator, ( us) does not mean that is likely to happenTheir employees load slabs as they come on the
rack and it Is extremely rare that they will place the ***s slabs in a separate area waiting to be
delivered when all the slabs look the sameSanta Cecilia is known to be a widely known granite throughout
the U.SIn rare instances do you find some variations with the slabs because each slab mimics the same
colors or close to
The ***'s were difficult right from the beginningFrom rejecting everything we had offered such as
sinks and granite, to offending our company and reputationI had noticed that the ***'s could not
be satisfy no matter what I did or how hard I tried helping themI told Mrs*** I was willing to return
her deposit as soon as I had the available funds in the accountShe then proceeded to say that would be
what they wanted
No one from our company said that they would not get back their depositFor there are emails going back
and forth between Mrs*** and I suggesting I will mail her a deposit as soon as we can

We request full refund of deposit $*** for granite never received by Modern Granite Tops, that was on hold at ***, Lenexa, KS, for usRefund to be paid in full immediately from Modern Granite Tops by check sent certified by mail to our home addressWe have been waiting for the full refund of $*** from Modern Granite Tops since 9/23/per our correspondence by emailOn 9/26/by email, contractor stated they would be sending refund check to us that week or early the following weekOn 10/7/by email, contractor said we would receive refund check the following weekOn 10/24/by email, contractor stated they would mail out refund check later that weekAs of this date, no refund check has been receivedSufficient time has been given to Modern Granite Tops to refund the depositRefund of the deposit should be made immediately not at contractor's convenience
