I signed up for SprezzaBox, a subscription based service as a gift for my boyfriend for ChristmasI was charged for my first order on the [redacted] of last month, in AugustI was then billed again on September [redacted] for my second orderI haven't received either boxWhen I contacted the company to let them know that I wanted a refund for the second order, since I haven't received the first order yet, they told me that they weren't going to refund me and that they've cancelled my serviceSo they charged me twice, didn't send me a product, and cancelled my service when I tried to figure out where the issue was

The business advertises that you can try their box for $8, but shipped a box and immediately charged $for a second month before I was delivered the first box to see if I liked it and wanted to continueIt is unethical to charge for a second month before I could even review the quality of the first box, the first "trial" box was not made available to me before I was charged a second timeI have contacted the seller multiple times and they refuse to refund, saying it's listed in the welcome email that billing will be on the *** every month if you order after the ***That is understandable, HOWEVER, they should ship the trial box in time for me to get the box and see the trial BEFORE the *** (it was delivered on the ** and I immediately cancelled because it was not worth the money)

Terrible scammy business practicesThey advertise a "try your first box for $8" but lock you in to the subscription and charge you for a second box before you are even shipped your first boxBeware!

SprezzaBox's gift program does not allow you to delay the sending of gift purchasing and refunds do not apply to the first purchase and the box will continue to be sent
As it is holiday season, this is an issue for people looking for giftsWhile I understand this is policy, I urged the company to make that more obvious in the way they advertise and sell through their websiteThey refused, insisting having this critical information buried in an FAQ page sufficed
