Thank you for forwarding me the complaint from MrC***.On 9/14/I reached out to MrC*** regarding him contacting my office. He did inform me that he contacted the Revdex.com. In he signed up for service with our company. As an incentive we offer free
products to gain customer base, that offer was free grub control for that year. We treated the property and completed the year without any issue. Every invoice that was ever hung on his door throughout our length of service has the saying "This is a continuous service, month after month, year after year unless notified otherwise". Therefore, everything is renewing. This is an industry standard. Furthermore, he was sent letters over the course of the off-season (on 12/5/and 2/6/2017) explaining what was renewing for the coming yearHe did not contact us following any of these letters. In total, the renewing service clause has been given to him in excess of times.We don't have "contracts" as he eludes to. I coached him on this aspect when I spoke to him on 9/14/2017. If someone isn't happy with the service we don't want them to feel "tied" to a relationship with us Regarding the "AUTOMATED" phone call. Yes, we utilize a calling service to cover our plus calls per day. We didn't need to contact MrC*** for this treatment but we do it for all our grub control customers so they are aware that they will need to water the product in. This is the 1st complaint we have ever had due to this being an "AUTOMATED" call. I do not show any records of MrC*** calling our office until most recently the week of 9/11/2017. He was sent several statements to which he never called our office regarding this. We utilize this same procedure for our aerations and customers love knowing when we plan on performing this task on their properties. Again, we've never had a complaint regarding the "AUTOMATED" call for aerations either.MrC*** stated over the phone that he has recently been released from his job therefore, that may have something to do with this bill. This is just information that he released to me. He was extremely belligerent over the phone to my staff along with myself. He repeatedly called me "Bud" to which I informed him my name was Don and to please not refer to me as "Bud". After I informed him that he was not going to talk to my staff nor myself in a demeaning manner and to no longer call me "Bud" he hung up the phone I did cancel any and all services at this address. I also cancelled any amounts owed by this customer as I felt I best to sever all ties as quickly as possibly once I became aware of the situation Please contact me if you should have any further questions regarding this issue. I am rejecting this response because:I was never belligerant as was described by Mr M[redacted] I did call him Bud however, not in a belligerant way. He told me to stop calling him Bud. I did. The part that irritates me about the bill is that I did NOT sign any agreement with Mr M[redacted] I called his phone and left him a voice mail telling him I did NOT want his service at all. The next morning, I caught his employee in my backyard, which is fenced, getting ready to spray. I told him to stop, which he did, and to leave. I did not want their service anymore. I did tell Don I lost my job, and was cutting back on unnecessary expenses at the time. I also did tell Mr M[redacted] that I filed a report with the Revdex.com and his reply was "oh, that's ok, I have handled them before". I became extremely irritated at this point and told him if he sent me any more "past due bills" for a service I did not receive, I would contact an attorney. He told me I wasn't worth his time and that was the point I ended the phone call.
