I would like to address his negative comments regarding our maintenance technicianI have been a property manager for over yearsI was named manager of the year by the owners of our communityYou don't achieve that with not having a high regards for residents and quality
serviceWith that being said with my experience I have never worked with a more dedicated employeeHe has a masters as an electrical engineer and he is the best HVAC tech I have ever worked with in my careerMost of our residents here appreciate our maintenance tech Mr*** version is not as we remember. Mr*** from unit *** came in our office on July to report the air conditioner problemOur maintenance technician, "***" investigated Mr***'s complaint and the resident would interrupt the service by constantly turning off the unit or the breaker. When he came in to the office on July 20, the office was full of guest and he interrupted everyone as though the other guest did not matter. He demanded immediate attention and complained again about the warm temperature and I immediately asked our maintenance technician to meet him at his apartmentHe kept wanting to make a scene so I informed him that he needed to hurry back to his apartment to meet the maintenance technicianEveryone in the room was offended by his behavior. On July he came in again to a full office and I was the only employee assisting the residents and guest and he asked for a key because he was locked outI gave him our only spare but because of the interruption to assisting others I did not make him a new key nor charge him a lock out fee of $25 which was customaryI asked him to just return the keyAlso on July 21 our maintenance technician person replaced the entire exterior unit and the interior thermostat, air handler & blower due to constant complaining and mystery of the unit working and not working. We found out he was tripping the breaker deliberately to get a new unit. We placed his unit in another apartment and it has never experienced any problemsWe feel this resident believes that other residents and guest are not as important and that rules do not apply to him. We feel he has not acted in good faith and is mad because he gets his truck tagged because he continues to park in fire lanes, reserved & handicap parkingWe have also asked him to clean his apartment and informed Mr***, we will be calling the health department to investigate the horrific, atrocious odor emanating from his apartment. This did not sit well with this resident. We feel we have resolved his maintenance concerns and would like to see him honor the community policies and the contractual lease agreementWe ask that he treat all employees, other residents & guest with respect and conduct himself in a professional manner when entering our office
