The motor was built for the project in December, he brought the truck when he saved up enough money to do the installWe started on the truck a couple of weeks after he brought it to the shop
He purchased used headers to save money, the
motor was offset in frame from the factory on this truck , so we ordered the right headers and moved forward with the install
The truck is years old and had electronic issues when he got it in the shopLike house wiring spliced in three places, the fuel system is gravity feed to the pump which sets lower then the tankWe always use Teflon tape on any wet fittings as all other shops doThe pump was bought new from Auto Zone , we offered to warranty it no problemIt's strange he didn't file a complaint against Auto Zone who sold us the pumpThe exhaust clamps and fightings furnished by the owner were the wrong sizeThe heads were 1.94"/ intake and 1.5"/ exhaust valves as stated on invoiceThe valve covers were upgraded by us from chrome steel to polished aluminum at a cost of $to us
He has a warranty in writing all he has to do is bring the truck in and we will gladly address any problems that were not existing prior to our install

Mr*** bought this car knowing full well a bonded title could be the end resultHe has been up dated as information and paper work has been submitted to a professional company to go through the proper channels; the original documents were made available to Mr***
prior to the sale to him, and he agreed to wait for a titleIn addition we made every effort to obtain the original or a certified cope of the original titleThat procedure took several months of phone calls and letters of inquiry to the state of Kentucky with very little resultMr*** knew all along that we were perusing this vigorously*** ***

The truck had no electronical issues whatsoeverThe only wires that were spliced was the ones to the fog lights, and an old security key that went out years agoThe truck ran perfectly fine with no issues I drove the truck up to his shop with no problems to begin withAt that point my brake lights worked the original fuel pump worked, which was not even a year old, he took the feul pump relay out and left the old pump in and put the new one on which is trying to pull fuel from the dead pump which is causing the pump to over heat and had to replace already, and we had to move it as close to the tank and below so it can now function, since he put it above and away far from the tank in the engine compartmentI had to change the alternator because he did not use the one that was on the truck the day I brought it inThe truck will not shift, you have to manually shift it which puts wear and tear on the transmission, since it is an automaticThe distributor was not installed properly because it will not maintain proper idle due to instalInstead of replacing the fuel pump relay they stuck a hot wire in the fuse pannel instead of running it the correct way( I have pictures to show all the issues that came home with the truck)They put the wire in a fuse block instead of a fuseWhen I dropped the truck off the windshield wipers worked, the blower motor worked and now they do notThe reason I do not want him to warranty the truck because I saw complaints on him and his company on your website, and I do not trust his work anymore after all of these problem that should not be there in the first placeThe day I picked the truck up he told me it drove and shifted good, timing was great, and that he had no issues other than the radiator capI also could not test drive the truck before I paid himHe did not seemed to worked on the truck unless I was there, he was usually working on other newer projectsI appreciated the upgrades on the truck but he did them without contacting me first, which is a brech of contract and that is unexceptable for a companyIf you need any pictures and more information please do not hesitate to contact me backWe found the complaint at: ***Spring-Metals-And-Automotive-in-Houstunder user rating

Mr*** if the transaction we entered into to obtain a bonded title is taking to long, we would me more then happy for you to return the car to us and we would be more then happy to give you a full refund
This guy is a complete rip off priced me a set of heads for 700 then came back and said the heads were 1000 guess it depends on how much he's sold that week as to what his price is.
