Spring Valley Horse Farm, LLC Reviews (2)

Ms. [redacted] was informed multiple times that the goat was a mixed breed and we spoke on the phone several times, during which time she was informed that deposits are non-refundable. I offered to transfer the deposit to a purebred Nigerian Dwarf goat. I believe Ms. [redacted] is confused as she told me she...

only wanted the goat for a pet and asked to receive him after castration but later said she was intending to breed him? If you castrate a goat you cannot then breed it. My ad stated deposits are non-refundable and that the goats were Lamancha crosses.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Ms [redacted] is lying.  She stated that she had NO purebred Nigerians and wouldn't after I had confronted her about the misleading ad stating she had Nigerians for sale. NOTHING about mixes and she never once stated it was a mix until I asked her why the goat had weird looking ears.. As for the deposit, I had paid in full for the goat that she led me to believe and others was a pure bred. In her pic she posted to me, why would I have asked about the pedigree if I knew ahead of time it was a mix? She conveniently left out the texts from me that followed after that one with her deception.  and she refused to take off the 75.00 and to refund the rest. The castrated male was only going to be a companion for the female goat I was going to get in Ms [redacted]' near future litter which she stated after the fact were a mix breed.  I originally told her this was eventually going to be bred as I wanted a milk goat. Nothing about pets, another out and out lie from her. When we first had talked on the phone she had said if I wanted a milk goat I should get her Nubian. I said I didn't want a large breed as we have a very small farm and I do want large sized goats. The goat she had tried selling as a Nigerian was a Lamancha mix which is double the size of Nigerians.
Regards,
[redacted]
