Springbrook Flats

this business HATES SENIORS it is making it impossible for any Senior living there before they purchased it from Heartland Village Square to stay in their residenceRent increases are being made so those on fixed incomes cannot reach that price and now must move They are right now being investigated for the practices they employ

We moved into this complex when it was Heartland Village Square in August of and we both loved living there as it was a Senior apartment complex for years and olderThe staff at that time was very helpful and treated the senior citizens with respect
In mid August we learned that the complex had been soldThen September after Labor Day we had a informative meeting with the new management team for the newly renamed Springbrook Flats as the complexThe management team was very aggressive with the senior residents and told everyone what was going to take place The list was very harsh especially for some of the residents that was in their 80's and mid 90's and had severe health problems(such as cancer and restricted mobility and confined to wheel chairs)We was told that they were going to reface the cabinets in the kitchen and all items had to be removed by the residents, they also said that the carpet was going to be replace in all the living room and the residents would have to remove all the furniture for this to be done and if you were unable to do this they would do these things but the residents would beh billed and have to pay for this to be done
We choose not to live in such a hostile environment as my husband has cancer and we decided that the hostile environment was not going to be in his best interest as stress would be to harmful to his healthWe gave days notice and moved out of there on the 8th of October
