Springer Collections Reviews (6)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and, assuming they follow through with the action plan, I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We have received the complaint and have ceased the account and marked the file disputed on the consumer's credit report. Thank you,

I received a call from [redacted] on 05-21-2016 and Identified my company name of Springer when the call was transferred to me. Once I identified myself to the consumer he told me why he was calling and demanded a settlement. I told him that we are a 3rd party agency and we don't own the debt and...

this specific client usually doesn't allow us to settle debts under $500.00. After explaining the current status of the account which included the fact that it been with our agency since 04-26-2013 (over 3 years) and that during that time we had send him numerous letter to try and professionally resolve the matter. I further explained to him that our client authorized us in writing on 01-30-2014 to forward Mr. [redacted]'s account to our attorney for law suit for non payment of debt which we did on 02-11-14. I finally explained that due to our agency's inability to find a current address for him our attorney's process servers weren't able to serve the summons and complaint upon him to start the law suit. It was after all this explaining that Mr. [redacted] and I couldn't come to a reasonable resolution that I decided to terminate the call because it wasn't going in a good direction. A little later on that day Mr. [redacted] called back and we were able to come to a resolution to his debt. I took off all of the interest that had been legally added to his account since 2013 and we settled for the principal amount he owed our client of $250. I have since sent Mr. [redacted] a receipt and removed this account from his credit report via the e-oscar credit bureau deletion method. If Mr. [redacted] checks his credit in the next 30 days it should be removed. If it isn't removed within 30 days Mr. [redacted] can submit an e-oscar credit bureau dispute on his own to each of the three credit bureaus (equifax, transunion, & experian) which will basically force the credit bureaus to contact our agency to confirm that the debt should be removed and we will of course confirm that it should be. If Mr. [redacted] needs help doing this (if our credit bureau deletion request isn't executed) I would be happy to assist him with the fore mentioned process if he wants to call me. I hope this response satisfies both Mr. [redacted] and the Revdex.com. If there are any further questions or issues please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.

Our agency has taken on 11 different accounts for this consumer from the same client ([redacted]) since 2014. The total balance owed on these accounts is over $1200.00. Our agency has sent over 12 different notices (11 first notices as required by law and once second notice including all...

accounts listed here at that time) to the consumer on this account and has attempted to collect the debt voluntarily from the consumer since December,2014. Our agency has attempted numerous phone calls (without leaving messages due to privacy laws) since that time but have only had two contacts. On each contact the consumer told now two different collectors here that she wasn't interested in taking care of her obligation and in both cases hung up the phone after our agency identified who we were and why we were calling. In regards to the most recent call with Mr. [redacted] (who has been a debt collector here for over 5 years now) I was told that he contacted the consumer and immediately after identifying who we were was told by the consumer that she needed to go and was hung up on. Since this client often has our agency forward their accounts to our attorney for review they ask that we verify all potential employers of the consumers they send over to us. In an attempt to do this for our client Mr. [redacted] verified the consumers employment. In regards to a resolution to this matter I will cease all further verbal contact with the consumer as of today and will make sure our only future correspondence, if any, be via U.S. mail. Since the consumer has refused to pay this debt we will be forwarding these accounts to our attorney for review on 10-01-16. If Ms. [redacted] would like to make voluntary payment arrangements our client would be will to accept $200.00 monthly payments or $100 bi-weekly (whichever is more convenient for her) in order to pay the balance in full over a 6 mo. period. Finally upon receipt of Ms. [redacted]'s final payment our agency would report all of her accounts to the credit bureau as paid in full and send her a receipt for her records. As long as the $200 mo. payments are received no later than the last business day of every mo. starting in October,2016 our agency will honor the payment arrangement. If Ms. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns and wants to speak to someone besides Mr. [redacted] she can call our office and ask for Brad [redacted] (owner) and I will help assist her as professionally and reasonably as possible. I hope this answer satisfies both the Ms. [redacted] and the Revdex.com.

Revdex.com: Legitimately, 8 of 10 of the statements made by the representative for Springer in this response did not take place, and I have the audio to back it up. They have removed the account from one of the credit agencies. At this time, arguing over trivial details is irrelevant.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], ad find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We are going to close this account as disputed back to our client Delta Dental and remove this item from the consumers credit report.  I have attached a copy of the deletion and will send a copy to the consumer as well.  We did verify with Delta Dental in May 2017 that this account was...

still showing unpaid on their end but we have experienced issues where Delta and the consumers dentist are having communication errors when the consumer pays the dentist instead of paying directly to Delta Dental.
