I'm very sorry if you feel as if you were lied to or someone didn't help resolve your issue at the time of calling. Your first deal with Pelican Auto Financed was cancelled because you brought in fake paystubs and the financing company cancelled...

the deal in which you were here I explained it to you and your wife at time being. The only way to save the deal was going with Credit Acceptance in which you read the documents and I also explain ALL documentation PRIOR to signing for the customers safety.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/06/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response from that company because that is incorrect. I brought in the proper paperwork for my check stubs. I believe that this company tried to Swindle me into believing something that was false and inaccurate .I clearly had my job fax over the year to date information in front of their representatives. I would like to see more of the following information to be available for further review if needed.

You personally brought in your paystubs, you never had an employer fax over YTD information to me. This is all besides the point. If you would like to come in and purchase a 3rd party warranty, I'd be happy to help.

Mr. [redacted] failed to mention why his deal "didn't go through" he was no longer employed at the job that he used to get his...

initial approval. When the finance company called to verify his employment they were told that he no longer worked there. I sold him this car in INDIANA under the CONDITION that all of the information he provided was accurate... pretty important detail... and he took the car all the way down to TEXAS so what was I supposed to do? tell this guy "hey we're coming for our car, make sure you hide it real good?" so what? should he just keep the car because has a nice guy? HE DIDNT PAY FOR IT AND THE FINANCE COMPANY REJECTED HIM!!! the car was on the other side of the country... and this customer provided false information on his credit application (which is actually ILLEGAL) and OF COURSE he is no longer entitled to any money! do you have any idea how expensive it is to tow a car from Texas to Indiana? HE OWES ME MORE MONEY! But we were satisfied to simply recover the vehicle and be done with this MESS... This illustrates the problem with the Revdex.com
Any person can come on here and say anything they want about a business and leave out MAJOR information just to make us look bad... you never here from the customers who are happy with their purchase and bring their friends and family right to me when it is time for them to buy a car... if I remember correctly Mr. [redacted] was also referred to us...
OFFER:
I'm sorry that you put yourself through this situation and I'm sorry that you dragged us into it. If you told the truth about your employment everything would have worked out fine.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2015/09/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I never provided false information! NEVER. I lost my job after I purchased the vehicle. I was not entitled to inform you about anything after the company stated that the deal went through. Maybe if the company would executed their job in a timely matter they could have verified my employment in time. But instead they waited until who knows when to finalize paperwork that should of been taken care of that day. Secondly no one ever gave me the option to bring the vehicle back to ensure my full refund. The company assumed and streotyped that I would hide the vehicle which is wrong. Had I'd been offered to bring the vehicle back instead of the company lying to me I would have done so to get my money back. Instead I was lied to in order to obtain the location of the vehicle for them to take it without warning and cause extreme pain and suffering. Unprofessional!
Final [redacted] Response /* (4030, 12, 2015/10/05) */
The deal didn't "go through" when you drove off... the bank that finances you takes whatever time they want to check your information, that's not my job. I submit your information to them and they take it from there... I basically "hooked you up" with a finance company, I don't represent them in any way. So if you lost your job before or "right after" you bought the car it is between you and the finance company. If they will not pay for the vehicle then you must return it to me and will be liable to pay fees out of your down payment, you don't get it all back. Anyway, you drove the car far away and it cost more money than you put down just to get it back. If I wanted to nickle and dime you I could still legally send you a bill but I'm not doing that. I'm sorry that things turned out this way but business is business. We are not here to take anyone's money and we have hundreds of satisfied customers to bear witness to that, but if you cannot obtain financing due to a job loss WE MUST RECOVER OUR VEHICLE IN A TIMELY MANNER and that is simply a fact. Taking it 975 miles away doesn't change that fact it only makes it more expensive on yourself
OFFER:
Again we did nothing wrong from our end, we submitted your information to the bank and they came back saying that you no longer work at your job. We tried to get the car back and you were too far away, so we were left with no good option. Sometimes things happen in life that are beyond our control, we cannot control whether you keep your job or not, and we cannot control where you take our car, but dont think for one second that we cant get our car back if we want to, and you signed all of the necessary paperwork so everything was perfectly legal. Good luck in the future and thanks for shopping with Genesis Automotive
