MR*** was hired to inspect the house I was purchasing at *** He said there was no visual problem with the basement I paid 508.50$ by cheque for the inspection He is a professional who was hired to advise us on this purchase There has been numerous water leaks in the basement since the purchase, the fist one was two days after possession The inspection was on Nov.7th and the possession on Dec Water leaks started on Dec He says this was not apparent, but I have pictures showing the corner in question that he should have seen He says my spouse and the realestate agent we there during the inspection, but they are not professionals we should have been advised to have a foundation inspection, as the damages are now 000$ plus hst
