I booked a stay at SPRINGHILL inn and suites via ***.com for 5 days. During the stay, we enjoyed ourselves, & enjoyed the customer service etc. This hotel was even nice enough to offer to wave the parking fee. Being that we wanted to stay longer, & the good service, we decided to price match our next 2 reservations with them and pay them directly. First we paid for 2 more nights. We paid $109 with debit and the balance in cash. We paid for one more reservation the next day for 1 night. We paid $68.02 via debit for this night. Sadly after checking out & checking with my bank, we realized that we had been overcharged twice. Though we appreciated this hotel's hospitality, we do not like being charged more than what was agreed upon. We gave the $20 in cash for the incidentals and I confirmed that no additional authorizations had been taken from my card upon checkout.
Billing Adjustment Because it was nice of them to offer to wave the parking fee, we just like to ask that in exchange for the billing issues, they simply refund us, and that we are well-accommodated for the inconvenience, especially being a silver elite rewards member. Thank you.

Upon reviewing Ms. claim, I believe her reservations were billed correctly. Some banks' debit cards take the money immediately and place a hold on the funds at the same time.
Ms.' first two reservations were booked and paid through a third party, and her credit card was never used for those two reservations. Her third reservation was booked directly with the hotel. She placed a *** on file and then switched it to a ***.
Even if both cards had a pending hold, our reservation system will only allow a payment to resolve the reservation to zero. It is impossible for us to take additional funds for that reservation. The only possibility that we would take another deposit would be for a future reservation- at this time no further reservations exist for ***.
I personally assisted *** on many occasions and would be happy to provide her with an email report of all charges to any credit card she owns. She can call the hotel at *** and provide the full credit card number to us for that history report.
At this time I see no evidence that *** was incorrectly charged for her reservations.
