Review: We purchased three doors through Spring House Door & Window on 5-8-2013. Two of the doors were double entry doors. The contractor removed the old doors and as he was getting ready to install the new doors I noticed the one door had a very large scratch on it. The person who was installing the door called his employer and was told he would take care of it and he continued installing both doors. The employer [redacted] came up the next week to help finish installing the three doors which, during this time he tried unsuccessfully to touch up the damaged door. He told me he will make things right so that we would be satisfied. **.[redacted] sent a representative from the manufacturer to our house to see the damage. He had some tiles he stained to try to match the stain on the doors. After a couple of weeks I was informed by Spring House Door & Window they were going to replace the one door. We requested that they replace both doors since we were concerned

The two doors would not match. **. [redacted] had the same concern however, our request was denied. About two months later we were told the door was in and they would come up and install the door. When the door arrived and was installed it did not match the other door. We were then offered $300.00 if we would forget to have two entry doors that match. We refused the offer since we paid over $6,400.00 for the double doors plus we paid over $3,000.00 for a front entry door. Again we asked to have both doors replaced so they both match and have been refused. They are now asking a third party to try to stain the damaged door to match the other one. We had two dates for this person to come to the house and both times the gentleman said he couldn’t make it. I have to miss work so this job can be completed which I’ve missed several days already during this time period. It’s almost one year since all this work started and all we want is what we paid for and that is the purchase of three doors and to have two double doors that match. We paid Spring House Door & Window $10,000.00 for these doors and we want what we paid for at the beginning of this "home improvement".Desired Settlement: To replace the double entry doors so that they both match which is what we ordered and paid for to Spring House Window and Door. We also want our front entry door to be completed by fixing the bottom ledge of door so that there is not a 1/4 gap

space to the outside for drafts to enter our home.
