My response: Although a proposed solution is in the works, it has not yet been completedI am requesting that Revdex.com not assume my complaint has been satisfactorily resolved until the new set of blinds is installed in my home and all slats are acceptable to me; hopefully within the next three weeksI will notify you when this has been completed, the complaint is still open at this time [redacted] 12/17/ Complaint # [redacted]

We are working to resolve this issue as well- We are in process of reaching out to the customer to offer compensation for the inconvenience he experienced and also provided this information to our Product Specialist This is a "Grab N Go" product that is branded Bali but is purchased directly by the retailer and we are making them aware of the quality related issues

Dealer indicated if we approve the consumers request to remake as standard wood and if we have an issue we can use old slats from original blind to exchangeIt should be understood that mineral deposits and streaks are common in natural materials like woodThis customer had indicated that the wood

My $2000 order of 7/9/18 was for some reason reordered on 8/1 through Lowes. As of 9/7 it still as not been received. This time delay is unacceptable and all I can get from Springs is an apology. I was promised ship dates of 8/23 and 9/3. The blinds did not ship till 9/5 and are still not here. Lowes did give me a discount for the original delay of 8/1 on the reorder, but this is ridiculous and unprofessional. Will not do business with Springs again.

We have completed the follow up and reached a positive conclusion. The consumer has received everything and they are fine with our offer of the Menards gift card of $150. When the CS rep mentioned that she hoped they might give SWF another chance to serve them and prove this is not a...

typical experience the consumer mentioned they plan on ordering more shades in a couple months. The SWF CS Rep offered the consumer her personal contact info so he could let her know when the order is entered and keep an eye on the order and make sure there’s no trouble. The consumer was pleased with the offer and will be getting back to SWF in a couple months with that order info.

This compliant has been addressed by our customer service team. We are replacing the blinds with the BEWD12 – Bali Essentials Wood blinds.

We are sorry the products failed to meet your expectations. Faux wood blinds are made of PVC and are offered as an alternate to real wood blinds at lower cost. Unfortunately, PVC does not have the same properties as wood under high heat conditions. Even though outside temperatures may have been...

under 85 degrees- the temperature in a window can easily reach over 150 degrees. This temperature can cause PVC to soften and warp as it did in your windows. This can be made worse if drapes are used to cover the blinds, preventing heat from escaping from the window. Some windows allow greater solar heat gain- i.e. clear glass, no tint or coatings. That coupled with darker colored PVC will further increase surface temperature on the product. Wood would be a better product in an application like this. All that stated- I was informed that the internet retailer where the product was purchased has reimbursed the consumer in full on 1/25.

The cus[redacted]er provided detail (order number) that did not link to a SWF order. The cus[redacted]er likely was trying to contact someone through Costco. SWF does not have a voice mail option for Costco members as they are expected to contact Costco directly. SWF contacted the cus[redacted]er and that cus[redacted]er...

does not want replacement product- they just want a refund. Since the cus[redacted]er purchased the product through Costco, they were directed to work with Costco for the credit.   I believe this issues is resolved. [redacted]- We have closure- See the additional update-The retail buying office sent the member a waiver to sign allowing to keep the product without further action, due to the timeline of member leaving the country[redacted]orrowthere was not time for any other actions. The member did not contact the Dealer or reply when Costco called him regarding any problems with his order but was willing to work with SWF cus[redacted]er service as a contact for. Again, there were no manufacturing defects shown in the photos, the member signed off on the order as complete after installation so this may have been a case of buyer remorse.Again, please confirm this has resolved the complaint.

Below is an update on the complaint. I believe this resolves the cus[redacted]ers concerns. Please confirm receipt and that this action results in closure to this open complaint. Thank you. Springs Window Fashions (SWF), manufacturer of [redacted] window coverings has been working with the Costco Buying office to resolve this member challenge. The product was not defective (see photo). The issue comes down to the member not being satisfied with what they ordered. SWF has offered a remake in another fabric, change to another product, or complete removal and refund to the member. As for the gift card- this is between Costco and their member. As of 322/16, SWF has been in contact with retailer Dealer, and the member. All are working to get the product picked up and refunded today as the member will be leaving the country [redacted]orrow.

Review: I recently purchased 6 Ali 2 inch vinyl blinds coffee color .4 of which are warping.upon calling customer service. I was told it is not their responsibility for the problem since they are sold through a 3rd party vendor. It is written on the box a 2 year guarantee. I received no help other than being told it is not their problem.Desired Settlement: I would like replacement for the 4 blinds. I drove over 30 miles one way to purchase them and it is not my job to spend even more time and money to return for a size that is not being restocked. I called the store and was told to contact bali ( springleaf) directly.
