June 22, 2017Dear [redacted] ***;In response to complaint # [redacted] ( [redacted] ) we did try and rectify the issue with scratched rims.The person making the complaint purchased the tires at another locationShe made the appointment tohave them mounted at our shopWhen she called to make the appointment she was told that we werenot able to accept credit cards at this timeShe made the appointment for am on June 1, 2017.The person making the complaint arrived before 7:50am on June 1stShe brought the new tires withherWe changed the tires, balanced them, and placed them back onto her vehicleAs we werefinishing up she was reminded again that our credit card reader was not availableShe had her motherpay in cash and both left.Approximately pm the same day she called and complained about the scratches on her rimsWeasked her to come in and let us see themShe told us no, that she would not bring the vehicle in for usto see and that we would hear from her againShe called later with a company name and a phonenumber to callShe wanted us to call a company that she had picked and wanted us to pay for thepainting of her rims without even seeing the rimsThe painting and repair of rims is something thatcan be done in our own shop and we would of hopefully been able to help her with this matter if shehad only come back in and let us see the rims to determine what kind of damage shc was talking about.We did call the other rim place, as asked by herSince we could do what they do and had not beenallowed to view the rims and see what she was complaining about, we did not pursue it any further.She called us to see if we had talked to the rim place and if we were going to payWe told her that wehad talked to the rim placeShe had the rim place call us to see if we were going to have them do thejob and if we were going to payWe told them noWhen she called again she was told that we werenot going to pay anything to another company to have her rims painted.If she had only come in as she was asked to in the ?rst place there could have been something done forher whether it be by us or by another company if it was determined that we did do something to herrimsSince we have not seen the rims we have not been able to determine if there was some damage tothe rims from the changing of her tires or if she looked at her new tires ( not having looked at her rimsbeforehand) and saw scratches and dingsShe assumed that the damage was done at our shop notrealizing that the damage was already there from curb rash, stone nicks from the oil and chipdone on our area roads, or stones kicked up from driving on dirt roads.We hope that this explanation helps you get a clearer picture of the events that have taken placeWeare sorry that we now have an unhappy customer but we did try to come to a solution to her complaint.Sincerely,Springville Automotive

appointment she was told that we werenot able to accept credit cards at this time. She made the appointment for 8 am on June 1, 2017.The person making the complaint arrived before 7:50am on June 1st. She brought the new tires withher. We changed the tires, balanced them, and placed them back onto her vehicle. As we werefinishing up she was reminded again that our credit card reader was not available.
