To Whom It May Concern Regarding ID ***:Vista Crossing Apartments appreciates the opportunity to respond to the complaint recently lodged by *** ***We take all issues seriously and make every effort to resolve each situation them in a professional and timely matter which I know has
been the case in this situation. After reviewing our documentation, including but not limited to work orders, conversation log with this resident and answering service call logs, we feel that the complaint lodged against our community is inaccurateWhile we understand the frustration ms*** expresses in her letter, we have addressed each leak and made necessary repairs to her unit in a timely matter.According to the Resident Communication Log, which is part of each resident's file, the following has been noted: 1) 2/28/18: Resident came in at 8:am to discuss all the leaks she has had in her apartmentThe *** *** apologized for all the leaks and spoke with her about transferring units*** then asked for her expenses of transferring to be paid for by Vista CrossingShe was then offered a $Visa gift card for moving expenses or she could choose to move herself and use the gift card any way she pleasesShe then asked about breaking her lease and was told that she could give a 30-day notice and leave without any further penalties. 2) 3/2/18: *** came in to view a 2-bedroom apartment that she was considering transferring to but after viewing it and discussing the price she was not willing on paying the price of the available bedroomThe *** *** and *** then began discussing transferring to the exact same floorplan on the 2nd floor in a different buildingThe carpet installers were onsite installing carpet in the unit they were about and *** had expressed she liked painting and wanted vinyl in the unitWe sent the Lead Maintenance tech to the unit to ask the installers to not install carpet in the dining room so that we could have vinyl out inWe the explained to *** she could come back after they were finished and preview the nitManagement was willing. 3) 3/2/18: At 3:pm the *** *** called *** and met her at the unit so she could view the placement of vinyl and the difference of a 2nd floor apartmentAt that tiime *** decided that is was not worth moving and that she was going to stay where she is at. 4) 3/15/18: *** came in after receiving her renewal offer and requested to not receive an increase or for her rent to be lowered to $Which she is currently paying $a monthWe are like many communities in San Antonio, developed in the 1980's and experience some issues due to age of the propertyHowever, it is well maintained and all issues are addressed in a timely mannerIt is unfortunate that *** has experienced several leaks and is unhappy in her current unitHowever, I feel that the complaints lodged are inadequate and we have done everything we can to resolve this issue by allowing her to transfer to another unit with a moving concession, moving out with no early termination fee, and offered to negotiate her renewal offer.
