Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I’ve been able to locate on [redacted] Inc.’s website numerous posts and links regarding the same issue-haze behind the screen This seems to be a common problem While it could be possible this is due to vaping at my desk, this issue could also be caused by a number of things as noted on ***'s website Small dust particles seemed to be the largest cause of the haze problem I don’t recall us discussing a “Reasonable amount of time window” if a return visit was needed Her response via email on 5/9/shows no hesitation in resolving the streaks after the initial screen cleaning on 3/8/ The original issue was a haze in the top right corner of the screen After “cleaning” you could see every streak mark throughout the monitor (Example: Note the receipt attached from other repair company has warranty on hardware repairs.) On the second visit, she did spend quite a bit more time cleaning the glass[redacted] is the only person to complete any maintenance to my computer This letter is the first I have heard that the glass screen was crooked The crack to the LCD happened on the 2nd visit-meant to resolve the streaks Suction cups are required to open the front of the computer and I do not have the tools to do so The LCD screen was cracked on 5/11/ Parts to repair cracked screen were ordered on or around 8/1/ 8/I received an email that the parts were ready This computer is used for work I tried to avoid downtime with the computer in repair This was not a quick resolution to the issue. The 3rd visit for repair, my computer was dropped off from 8/21/16-8/ Immediately upon arrival home on 8/25, the computer would not turn on [redacted] suggested I turn around and drop off at her home for a 4th attempt to repair the computer She was also aware that this computer was used for work and was needed the next day I no longer trusted [redacted] to repair the damages caused during her service I could not afford to take a chance of further damage to my computerThe next day I contacted a storefront in Shiloh, IL They were able to repair the computer same day No parts needed to be ordered, no delay in contacting me back, no waiting! They determined a faulty LCD screen was installedI posted a negative Facebook review on the company page describing my experience Long story short, it was a circus! By no means have I threatened her or asked anyone else to attack her A “happy customer of Sprontos” questioned my integrity due to my profile photo This is what sparked the conversation The whole interaction was nonsense! I've attached my receipt of payment for repairs Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com, In regards to the case brought to you by a [redacted] ***Here is what happened: She contacted me to clean her iMac screenI went and cleaned said screen for her, and only charged her half of my rate because it didn’t take as long and she laid on me a sob story about not having much moneyI told her that I stand by my work, and that if she noticed any streaks to contact me within a reasonable amount of time and I would make sure it is rightI said this because iMac screens can be hard to see in certain light so its possible I may have missed a streakLet me preface the rest by saying she vapes right next to her iMacAbout weeks later she said that the screen wasn’t clean and I needed to come back and clean it again or give her her money backThis is outside of the “reasonable amount of time” windowI will admit I did not reply to her right awayEventually I did go and clean it again, for free, even though the reason why her screen was “dirty” again was due to vaping next to itWhile I was cleaning it, I noticed the glass screen was slightly crooked (There is a glass part that goes on top of the LCD screen) and when I took it off, I noticed a small abnormality on the screenI did not notice it the last time I was thereShe claims it wasn’t her, and as the saying goes the customer is always rightSo I contacted some fellow techs and asked what to do about itShould I replace it? It IS possible that I did it when I cleaned her screen the last time, but I think would have noticed itAgain, it is possible, not probableHowever, I decided to purchase her a new glass screen and LCD screen and replace it all at no cost to herThe part had to be ordered and I contacted her as soon as it arrivedI replaced both screens, turned it on and verified that the glass was clean and all was goodShe picked it up on a Thursday nightLater that night she told me that it would not turn onI told her that it had worked at my house, but to bring it backI did not get a replyI did not hear from her, so I assumed everything was okThen a week later, I got an email saying she took it elsewhere (did not say where) and that I owe her $If the screen truly did not work after it worked at my office, I told her to bring it back and I would make it rightInstead she chose to go elsewhere without consulting meI told my lawyer ( [redacted] ) the situation before I did anything and he agreed that I did not owe her anything, his words were “If a mechanic fixes your car, and you get it back and it does not work like it should, you don’t take it somewhere else and expect them to payThat isn’t how it works” From the beginning I felt like I was being scammed what with the spot on her screen that I am 98% sure I did not do, to having to clean it again after many weeksI replied and told her that any further communication could be sent to my lawyerHe said if she wanted to work something out he would handle it for meAfter this she put up a negative review on my Facebook business pageI left it because she feels that she was wronged so she is free to post whatever she’d likeA few days later I got barraged with star reviews from people I had never met nor worked for in my lifeThey left horrible comments about me personally and about my businessThey were all her friendsIt is one thing to be upset because you think a business wronged you, but personal attacks are over the line Clearly, there are two sides to every storyThis is mine When I first saw that she went to the Revdex.com I contacted my friend who works there, [redacted] and she told me to just reply with a statement when I got a letter in the mail, so that is what I didHopefully it ends up getting to you eventually, but here is an emailed version Please contact me if you have any questionsAlso, my business is out of my homeI would prefer not to have my home address on your website if at all possibleWith the messages I got on Facebook I would rather those people not know where I liveThank you! Revdex.com,   In regards to the case brought to you by a [redacted]. Here is what happened:   She contacted me to clean her iMac screen. I went and cleaned said screen for her, and only charged her half of my normal rate because it didn’t take as long and she laid on me a...

sob story about not having much money. I told her that I stand by my work, and that if she noticed any streaks to contact me within a reasonable amount of time and I would make sure it is right. I said this because iMac screens can be hard to see in certain light so its possible I may have missed a streak. Let me preface the rest by saying she vapes right next to her iMac. About 3 weeks later she said that the screen wasn’t clean and I needed to come back and clean it again or give her her money back. This is outside of the “reasonable amount of time” window. I will admit I did not reply to her right away. Eventually I did go and clean it again, for free, even though the reason why her screen was “dirty” again was due to vaping next to it. While I was cleaning it, I noticed the glass screen was slightly crooked (There is a glass part that goes on top of the LCD screen) and when I took it off, I noticed a small abnormality on the screen. I did not notice it the last time I was there. She claims it wasn’t her, and as the saying goes…the customer is always right. So I contacted some fellow techs and asked what to do about it. Should I replace it? It IS possible that I did it when I cleaned her screen the last time, but I think would have noticed it. Again, it is possible, not probable. However, I decided to purchase her a new glass screen and LCD screen and replace it all at no cost to her. The part had to be ordered and I contacted her as soon as it arrived. I replaced both screens, turned it on and verified that the glass was clean and all was good. She picked it up on a Thursday night. Later that night she told me that it would not turn on. I told her that it had worked at my house, but to bring it back. I did not get a reply. I did not hear from her, so I assumed everything was ok. Then a week later, I got an email saying she took it elsewhere (did not say where) and that I owe her $250. If the screen truly did not work after it worked at my office, I told her to bring it back and I would make it right. Instead she chose to go elsewhere without consulting me. I told my lawyer ([redacted]) the situation before I did anything and he agreed that I did not owe her anything, his words were “If a mechanic fixes your car, and you get it back and it does not work like it should, you don’t take it somewhere else and expect them to pay. That isn’t how it works” From the beginning I felt like I was being scammed what with the spot on her screen that I am 98% sure I did not do, to having to clean it again after many weeks. I replied and told her that any further communication could be sent to my lawyer. He said if she wanted to work something out he would handle it for me. After this she put up a negative review on my Facebook business page. I left it because she feels that she was wronged so she is free to post whatever she’d like. A few days later I got barraged with 1 star reviews from people I had never met nor worked for in my life. They left horrible comments about me personally and about my business. They were all her friends. It is one thing to be upset because you think a business wronged you, but personal attacks are over the line.   Clearly, there are two sides to every story. This is mine.   When I first saw that she went to the Revdex.com I contacted my friend who works there, [redacted] and she told me to just reply with a statement when I got a letter in the mail, so that is what I did. Hopefully it ends up getting to you eventually, but here is an emailed version.   Please contact me if you have any questions. Also, my business is out of my home. I would prefer not to have my home address on your website if at all possible. With the messages I got on Facebook I would rather those people not know where I live. Thank you!   Thank you, [redacted]
