Review: [redacted] of Spy Shops Inc, set up security cameras at my home in 2007. Over the years, we upgraded the systems and added security cameras, etc. On all occasions, we seemed to have some issues dealing with him, but it was never as bad as the last incident. Over the past few years, on a few occasions I had issues with them where they would stop working, ie. not viewable on smart phones, or not viewable from desktop PCs, etc.

On the last occasion, I reached out to him on 3/*/14 at 4:56pm via text and indicated that the system was not working again. He agreed that it was an issue that he could fix but it took me reaching out several times to get him to come service the system to make sure it was operational. He finally came on 3/**/14, but said he needed to come back because he couldn't fix it that day. I continued to reach out to him to see when he was returning. He continuously made appointments which he canceled on for various reasons. On 4/*/14, he was supposed to come to correct the issue but he never showed up and texted me on 4/*/14 to say that he got food poisoning. He promised he would come the next week, and again canceled. Then again on 5/*/14 he was supposed to come and canceled yet again. He again promised on 5/*/14 at noon. When I texted him the day before to confirm, he asked if we can change to 2pm which I could not do because I had another appointment. So he said fine to keeping the 12pm schedule. I received a call from [redacted] on 5/*/14 at 1pm and he asked if he could leave the city to come to my home to correct the issue, meaning he would arrive at approximately 1:45pm, and when I asked why, his response was "Sorry, I overslept." I told him that we agreed to 12pm because I was not available later in the day. I further said that I was tired of his excuses and that I think he needs help because he doesn't appear to know how to run a business.

In any case, we agreed that he would go to another appointment he had near my home and would contact me after that appointment to see if I was available later that same day. But at 4pm, I was greeted with another text that said he was no longer going to service our account. His texted the following to me and my wife: "Spy Shops will be terminating the services, effective immediately" (this refers to services as well as domain hosted on his servers to allow for viewing of our security cameras online) He further added "Goodbye... Don't call my store I already let everyone know not to speak with you." He charged top dollar for all the work that he had done. Over the years, we have checks proving payment of $28,207 and yet he texted us saying that he was doing us a favor by coming out from the city to service our account.

All correspondence indicated above has been via text so complete proof can be provided regarding all conversations. Canceled checks exist for all payments made to SpyShops Inc. over the years as well.Desired Settlement: I believe there are several acceptable outcomes to this issue. Spy Shops should first reinstate the domain that they were hosting ([redacted] or [redacted] or at least have it reinstated elsewhere. He should also ensure that the security camera system that he installed o that we would be able to maintain security of our home by allowing it to be viewed online to be fully operational via iphone and desktops as originally agreed.

He claims that he lives in the city now and/or is too busy to service our account---In which case he should at engage another provider to complete the job that he started, as opposed to leaving us in a lurch with no ability of maintaining security of our home.

Last option, if system is not to be corrected and therefore not operational, then he can refund me the full balance of what I have paid him over the years: $28,207.
