HorribleI feel like they intentionally give you a low price on the phone and then drive it up once they get thereWhen they get there they will say there are light scratches on all your inventory to alleviate them from all responsibility, and they did not deliver on time (thus costing me extra money in hotel fees)A $move cost me over $1700! And when they arrived my daughter bed was torn up, my leather bench had a big hole in, and my child's $custom made toy chest had oily foot prints all over it that I can't get out! Very disappointed and hurt about the entire experience with this company

Big mistake on my part to give them my move - They gave me a low quote on the phone, but when they came over to move took the price was way higher - They take 50% of the money upfront in cash, so bewareThey take your stuff and money and after that hold you hostage on delivery - My delivery took almost a month from pickup date, and had to call multiple times with no status update from them - After almost days from the pickup, they told me the move was very hard for them as they could not find anyone to deliver it to my locationWhy could they not tell me upfront before they took my money and stuff ? They knew where I was shipping it since the day I asked for a quote - They never called to tell me my stuff has been shipped, only to be called by the driver who wanted to deliver it at 10:pm in the nightHe again looked for reasons to charge me, and I had to shell out $extra for moving it floor extraHe could not assemble my bed either

Also used the bait and switch costing me $500.00 more than quoted.

Great Company! They came to my home to give me a price. The estimator and movers were very professional. They took great care of my antique china cabinet and when the move was over they cleaned everything up. I will defiantly use them when I move again.

I am a VERY satisfied and grateful repeat customer of 1st Generation Moving and I proudly and confidently recommend them to all my friends. My experience has always been first class, from my interactions with the owner and staff, to the moving day with 1st Generation movers, everyone has been extremely professional, honest and courteous. They are detail oriented with the highest level of quality given to the care and concern of my needs, my home and the moving of my possessions. It is rare to find such a company and I give them my highest recommendation.

And when they arrived my daughter bed was torn up, my leather bench had a big hole in, and my child's $600 custom made toy chest had oily foot prints all over it that I can't get out! Very disappointed and hurt about the entire experience with this company.
