When I scheduled with them for moving my things I had to put down a $50 dollar deposit. On the day of the move I was told to pay the driver the remaining $100 and that's what I did. A few hours later the credit card I used for the deposit sent me an alert that I had been charged $150 which was incorrect. I have been trying to contact them since Sunday afternoon on all the numbers on the website and it now says they can't a message right now. I also called the driver who actually moved my things and his phone goes straight to voicemail now.I

We charged the client $50 for move reservation fee, and $150 for the move. The client gave the tip to the driver, and it is appreciated, but the tip does not apply to the quoted price of the move.

I am rejecting this response because: This was not the deal. Our deal was $150 total. I had no plans on tipping. The driver was an hour late. If the deal had changed he should have told as I spoke with him several times. After the move no one answered my call.

Buyer beware! Doctored invoice doubled cost to over $6,000.00 for a 115-mile move. Business practices best described as a scam & leave a lot to be desired. If I could leave zero stars, I would. They earned it.--Gramps D.

Our former pastor contracted with Spyder to relocate personal belongings from the church's parsonage to his sons's residence in Brandon. The distance involved is roughly 115 miles. The church consented to pay the cost of the move. . The move occurred Nov.30,2019 & Dec.1,2019 A payment ($3,755.17) was made based on Spyder's's invoice #*** by check #*** dated Dec/ 11/ At that time we considered the check payment in full. However, on reconciling the monthly credit card bill.approximately 12/20, a subsequent charge was found for $2787.35 which was also remitted to Spyder. We spoke to Spyder & with great difficulty obtained a revised invoice #*** attempting to justify both fees which we bellieve represents an exorbitant double-billing.

Hello. All charges are according to provided rate and the paperwork that you have signed. Also, we provided bill of lading to sign, before the move, and after the move was completed, as well as an invoice with the total amount due.

The company did not do as promised. I requested 4 movers and only got 2 and the kept saying 2 more was on the way. The other 2 never showed up. So the price was 180/hr for 4 movers but only 2 showed up. Then I was charged prior to the job getting done which the contract say they will charge after move is complete and will be provided a record of charges. My credit card which was on file with them because I used it for the deposit. They charge me twice while move was taking place without my knowledge. 1207 and then 2401.

We hired Spyder Moving to move us from Hattiesburg MS to Fort Smith AR. They showed up a day late with inadequate equipment and supplies to move our belongings. We paid for a "full service move" whereby they were supposed to pack/wrap; load; move; unload; and unpack/wrap our belongings.
When we got to our destination, several of the furniture items had been damaged because they didn't pack/wrap them well, and were careless when moving them. We also are missing some of our belongings (our pots/pans never made it to our new home).
I've repeatedly tried to contact "***", the owner of Spyder Moving to file a claim for damages. However, he's been totally unresponsive.
If you check his Hattiesburg MS address for Spyder Moving, you will find there is no office. I believe he operates solely via cell phone and email and had no insurance.

Sir, your statements are false, and you are trying to add things up that did not happen or untrue. We apologize that we could not start your move a day earlier on your short notice request, but we started your move exactly on the date you scheduled. EVERYTHING was delivered to you. After loading 2 large box trucks, the box trucks were locked, and unlocked only when arrived to your address. NOTHING was missing, we took inventory and you agreed that all your boxes, furniture, and belongings were delivered with no damages.

I am rejecting this response because:
Spyder says we gave them short notice of our move. Our move was to have been loaded on October 26, 2019. We first contacted *** at Spyder Moving SEVEN WEEKS prior too our move. The contract we signed on October 1st, 2019 was for a "full service" move including packing, loading, unloading and unpacking services, and transportation of household goods and belongings for a total amount of $7,530 plus tax. The contract also stipulated that Spyder movers would "take the inventory of all the items and shall provide a copy of the inventory to the Service Recipient prior to transporting the items to the new location. Service Provider shall box and/or wrap the items with care." In an email on 9/29/19, *** said that our belongings would be insured and the contract stated "As a licensed common carrier, we are required to provide limited liability coverage at no extra charge". The move date in the contract was to pack/inventory/load our belongings in Hattiesburg MS on 10/26/19, and unload/unpack them in Fort Smith on 10/30/19. On the scheduled day of the move (10/26/19), *** called to say they were having truck problems. Over several calls and texts that day, he ultimatly said they would not be able to pack and load the truck until 10/27/19. This put us a day behind schedule and forced us to change reservations and house closing plans, and scramble to rent a U-haul truck for his movers to pick up furniture we'd bought for our new home that they'd agreed to move. They came one to our home in Hattiesburg MS the next day (10/27/19) and had inadequate packaging/padding/boxes to pack everything and only one dolly. They threw our belongings into unmarked boxes and never took any inventory of any items. Furniture was handled and packed carelessly, and as a result several expensive pieced of furniture were damaged. The trucks did make it to our new home in Fort Smith on time, but the unmarked boxes made for very unruly to get things to the right rooms. Again furniture was moved carelessly and damaged. Many boxes ended up in the wrong place. The boxes with all of our pots & pans never made it to our new home (one of the trucks had been locked with their padlock, not ours). Not a single box was unpacked per the contract, boxes were simply abandoned in the rooms they were dropped in. The Spyder staff left us with a mess of unpacked boxes and damaged furniture. We informed *** in a phone call that day (10/29/19) that there was damaged furniture and that they did not upack anything from the boxes. I told him that it's evident that he doesn't train his staff. *** said to send pictures of the damages and we've have check to cover the damages within 10 days. I emailed him pictures of the damaged furniture on 11/13/19 and asked him what the claims process was. I did so again on 11/21/19 and 11/27/19. I also called *** on 12/6/19, 12/10/19, and 12/31/19 and texted him on 12/22/19. ***/Spyder never responded to any of these emails, phone calls, or texts. As I stated in my initial review/complaint, ***'s has a bogus address for Spyder Moving in Hattiesburg MS, and would not meet me in person.

I recently booked Spyder Moving for a local Jackson, MS move. Due to uncontrollable circumstances my closing date was moved numerous times with the last time resulting in a cancellation of my move until I knew exactly when I would be moving. At first, I was very frustrated due to being charged the $50 deposit fee and then an additional $100 for moving the move dates and then the cancellation of the move. I was unable to give Spyder Moving the 7 days notice that was required per their policy. I contacted the company via email asking if I could be refunded my $50 deposit and they obliged and returned the deposit.

Overall, Spyder Moving Services did a great job! The price was very reasonable and our belongings arrived at our new home the next day! *** (the owner) is a young, aspiring businessman that wants to do well and does everything he can to earn your business. He's both likeable and professional. Although there were a few minor issues during the move (as there are in any move), he made them right. I was pleased with their moving process and believe them to be the best value for the money. I highly recommend Spyder Moving Services.
