Square Business Automotive sold me a car and over charged me money for a car that was only worth between $6,000-$7,000 . *** only gave me two receipt since I purchashed the car in November of 2019. He was very unprofessional , He attempted to talk to me in a sexual manner each time I would make a car payment. I reported this information to friends and family and plan to report it in court (will be starting a court case). *** recently took my car "illegally" while I was getting ready for work March 10. when my payment were current.
was referred to Square Business by a mutual friend in November of 2019. After completing an application, Ms. secured a loan to purchase a vehicle. Two weeks later Ms., voluntarily quit her steady job. Since the beginning of this loan the first two payments were in full each and every additional payment was partial payments.December 13, 2019, 12/27/2019. Ms. was scheduled to make a payment on January 10, 2020 and January 24,2020 and only $100 was paid on 01/16/2020 for the entire month .All late fees were waved in goodfaith given ample opportunity to restore employment. Ms. made partial sporadic payments. At this point we spoke with Ms. about our Pre-Tax program where customers receive a vehicle in advance to 2019 Tax Returns. Ms. told us she was waiting on her 2019 W's. After Ms. received her W2's in late January early February she refused to participate in our Pre-Tax program. However, After ample time Ms. was asked to provide proof of her filling. No proof of the filing had ever been produced. nor could Ms. log into the Tax Program System of her choice. Meanwhile, making sporadic payments of her choice and excuses as to why proof of her filing had not been produced. Ms. had at this point been informed via Certified Mail that her partial payments were no longer acceptable, Intent To Repossess if she does not become current with her payments in a timely manner. After ample time Ms. vehicle had been repossessed for breach of contract ie., lack of payment. The same day the vehicle in question was reposessed Ms. arrived to our dealership in a rage furious very loud boisterous and casting verbal threats while pointing in Mr. face. Law enforcement was contacted (District 7) Ms. requested the return of her possessions, but refused to turn over the car key. Ms. then went to a different police district (4) with her complaint. After explaining to the above mentioned the officer stated that Ms. lied about not having contacting the police about this issue. Ms. then went to (District 5) with her complaint. an officer called the dealership and again explaining to the officer that Square Business only has interest in receiving her car keys as a means of entering the vehicle the officer apologized for wasting his and our time with this frivolous complaint. Ms. sent several people to Square Business to try and gain access to her vehicle but still refused to turn over the key so we could access the vehicle in order to give her the possessions she wanted. After multiple failed attempts Ms. finally sent her mother to Square Business with the keys to the vehicle. Ms. mother was granted access to the vehicle where she cleared the vehicle of all Ms. property.
I’ve financed 3 cars from square business each car has went out on me. I am now being told they don’t owe me anything and I no longer have a vehicle or any of my money back.
I brought a car Dec 28, 2018 from square business, he showed me a hydundai Sonta 2007, I started the car up, it made a loud screaming noise, he told me it was my muffler & that he will get it fixed, I said okay, the next day I reached out to square business to let them know I didn’t want to go thru with the contract with the car, James Newton stated I signed a contract I can’t get any money back and I can leave the car, I didn’t have a way to and from work so I ended up keeping the car a week later the oil light come on, I then call James, and let him know. He said I should’ve took my car to the muffler shop, The same day I had oil put in the car, a couple days later the car shut off. I than call James to let him know he then told me to take it to the muffler shop, I took the car there he noticed that there wasn’t any oil in the car, and the engine has been blown. I then explained to James I didn’t have the car longer then three weeks and the engine is blown, he then stated I will have to still pay for the car, and I can get another car for 2000 dollars more. I then stated to James I can’t pay all that money to him. And that I loss out on car and money, he did not care about my concerns he jus demanded the money.
I purchased a vehicle, 2003 kia sorento from *** A.Newson on 09/06/2018. The truck has been giving me problems since day 1. When I first purchased the vehicle *** said that if anything is wrong with the vehicle that he would fix it. He did the bare minimum. On 10/15/2018 I paid my car note of $200 like I do EVERY TWO WEEKS. Well that same day the truck got to smoking really bad and cut off on me while I had my children in the car. I told *** about it and he told me to bring it to him the next day. I did, turns out the problem is worse then he thought. *** put me in one of his loaner vehicles. A two door Chevrolet cavalier. The brake lights were on in this vehicle which *** was aware of. So the next day, Wednesday 10/17/2018 I called *** numerous of times and when he finally answered I asked him what was going on with my truck? I needed it back PLUS the brakes are going out on this loaner car that you gave me and I told you that. *** replied that my truck had been being worked on all day and that it would be ready that evening. Well it wasnt, I have a job and I have to go to work, so unfortunately I drove the car. Around 2:30pm on 10/18/2018 I was involved in a 3 car accident at which I'm being held liable for. I was hurt and visibly upset. I told *** that I didnt even want the teuck back that I just wanted my money and my things out the vehicle. *** has ILLEGALLY repossessed my vehicle and when I went to the police for help they called him and he lied and said that I haven't been making any payments. I showed the police the receipts and they still wouldn't help me. *** has not only repossessed the truck but he has kept my personal things that were inside the vehicle and will not allow me to get them. I REALLY NEED HELP AND IT SEEMS AS IF NO ONE IS WILLING TO HELP ME AND HE HAS BASICALLY STOLEN MY PROPERTY!!
The seller ***, operating as an agent of Square business Llc listed a used vehicle on the website offer up. The vehicle was listed as runs and drives excellent, no leaks, no issues and was purchased 06/02/2018 althoughby 06/03/2018, the day after purchasing the vehicle, it was undriveable with transmission issues, oil and gas leak and needing new brakes.None of these issues were divulged either on the website or when purchasing and when we contacted Square business, we were advised they had no involvement.with the car although it was on their lot, money paid to their receptionist and title paperwork processed by their employee.The car has been undriveable since the day afyer purchase since doing so would put any operator or drivers on the road at risk of great harm from either failed brakes or a fire.
