got a used a/c compressor . the a/c clutch assembly was shorted . went back to square deal , told me no refund or replacement
We sold him an A/C compressor. He came back in wanting another one. We asked what was wrong with that one. He informed us he didn't put it in the vehicle. Burnt up the clutch by hooking it to something. An A/C compressor is not made to be hooked up direct current like that.
Basically, he bought a good part and ruined it and wants us to replace his mistake.
They sell me an $850 import used engine that is no good. Refuse to give me a refund, I have my technician remove the rod bearings to show that the engine had gotten hot and were scarred. ***, the owner still refused to do the right thing. Never seen such an unconscionable human in my 36 years in the automotive repair business. We will take them to small claims to try to get healed on this rotten deal.
The customer was told the intake manifold was hit and he would have to use his intake and he agreed and purchased the motor. Then 15 days later the customer showed up with the engine saying it was locked up. We went out and inspected the motor, turned it over to show it was not locked up . Pulled the plug on the oil it was clear, take a picture of the pan and the bolts was still intacked. We have been in the salvage business for 45 years. The customer just clanged their mind and pulled the rod bearings out now the motor has no value.
The customer was never talked to in a rude manner at anytime.
