Review: while in the process of putting on my roof it rained which caused water damage to the inside of my sons room and also the nails came through the ceiling in my master bedroom. I informed both owners which are brothers and both agreed to fix ASAP. I have called and spoke with Jeffery(owner) several times for them to come fix their mistakes and he has blown me off every time. They collected the money and now won't come fix the problems. Trying to get my house fixed before I need to call my lawyer. Also while taking apart the turbines they ripped off the ventilation vents from my gas water heater and reg heaters which could have killed my family that night if I wouldn't have caught it in time. It has now been 4 weeks later and I'm not happy.Desired Settlement: Please have the decency to give me and call and come fix your mistakes.

Review: On May 12, 2015, I contracted with Square Deal Siding Company, LLC to install Siding to Front Garage Gables, to include 2 small gable vents and removable and haul away of old siding. Work was also to include installation of Tyvec Vapor Barrier. The product to be installed, per contract, was listed as CertainTeed Mainstreet D-4. Because of recent Tornado damage, I discovered that the product installed was CertainTeed Encore, which is a lower grade siding, and that the old siding was not removed and no vapor barrier installed.

I have tried several times to resolve this issue with the company, without any success.Desired Settlement: I request a full refund of monies paid for this fraudulent work. I no longer want to do business with this company.

Review: In December, 2014, Square Deal Siding, in order to access my second story windows, placed ladders on the neighbors roof without anyone's authorization. They damaged the neighbors roof and gutter. Salesman Jeffrey Schmalz viewed the damage with me and the neighbor and acknowledged the damage.Salesmen Jeffrey related to me that his brother and owner of Square Deal Siding, Brian Schmalz, believed the damage was preexisting. How Brian Schmaltz can ascertain this without viewing the damage is impossible. I had Robertson Roofing inspect the damage which he described as "fresh".Neither I nor the neighbor have spoken to Brian Schmalz. Numerous phone calls have been made by the neighbor with no results. Square Deal received a certified letter from me on January 14, 2015.Desired Settlement: Given Square Deal Siding's bizarre behavior and inability to accept responsibility, it's preferred that an independent roofing contractor make the repairs. The gutter section damage can be cut off and a new section of gutter installed and the damaged roofing shingles can be replaced. Robertson Roofing described the cost as minimal.The Revdex.com accepts only 1 photo for documentation. The shingle damage is depicted. The gutter damage is available if requested.

Review: Square install brand new gutters on our house in the spring of 2015. We were initially pleased with the job even though there were a few areas where the work was questionable. Recently, we called Jeffrey to replace a downspout on the backside of the house that was loose. After 4 or more promises from Jeffrey, the downspout was finally repaired. Since March of last year, we have made numerous calls and texts to representatives from Square Deal to replace/repair a 50 ft section of gutter that is is now separating from the roof over the garage area and add another downspout. Jeffrey and his staff have made several promises to repair this section, however the repairs have not been completed. The water flow is extremely heavy in this area and this needs to be addressed immediately. We've taken pictures of the work and the initial work in this area was shoddy and poor which more than likely led to this problem. We have gotten an estimate of $1100 from another contractor to repair this section.Desired Settlement: Replace the damaged soffit, gutter area, and add a downspout.
