I received an email from a collections company for unpaid services that *** said I received, but in truth I did not.
*** emailed me three copies of her company's work order reflecting three months of service invoiced to me. "April 2019" contains my employees signature of completed work, which I have paid. Her window cleaner did not return in "May 2019", however that work order has a written notation of "left slip, cleaned outsides, wasn't there at 1:25 pm". Because my ofc accepts walk-ins we never close between 8a-5p, so that is a bogus work order and the work was never performed. The "June 2019" work order that she sent shows an obvious forgery of my employees signature, and no one ever came out to wash my windows! And what's crazy, she has billed me on 9/30 a late fee of $35! She has cause me such stress, having my company unfairly reported to a collection agency. . . .She is not accountable of her employees as she has allowed them to report falsified work orders and has billed me for services never rendered!
I have told her that I will be going to my local magistrate to see if I can file civil or criminal charges on her for the forged work order by her employee. Concerning the collections company that she has reported me to, I want her to retract the information she sent to them and clear my company name from the debt she has reported against me.
is always behind on payment by 90 days. I have attached their payment history to show that. Our office admin called on 7/23 and 8/22 leaving messages with no return calls from ***. We emailed the invoices 9/26 and I have attached proof as well. We mail all invoices on the 30th of each month. So a statement was also going out into the mail to *** once a month. On October 3rd, we sent several past due accounts to collections. For the payment in April, we had issued a small claims court letter in order to receive payment at which time someone from their office came in with a check. Upon the collection company reaching out to her she ask them for proof of service which we provided. Then she said the work orders are forge by the technician. I have no proof of that. These work orders are to signed by the customer once the work is completed. Every week the technician turns in the work orders that they completed for the week. Their service is outside only so a signature is not required. We would prefer one. At any point in the past 90 days if they did not feel that the invoice was not valid someone should have reached out to our office and a collection company would not be involved. As far as the late fee, payments are due in 30 days of service. Every company charges a late fee as collections cost money.
This could have been handled in a different direction if there was communication.
