I want to stop my subscription I am now living in [redacted] I tried to find a way to cancel my subscription online but they provide no way to do thisThey do not answer their chat support and send automated emails in reply to my email requesting my subscription be stoppedI don't think this is acceptable practice

Paper never delivered after several weeks, refund not given, customer service does not respond I ordered the Sunday/Wednesday editions to be delivered to my home several weeks ago I have never received one paper I have complained numerous times Once on chat, once on the phone, and a few times via emailI also went to the website and logged "delivery issue" complaints When I called in the customer service rep said he would credit me for the month I paid and give me one month free and make sure the complaint was passed on so I would get my paper I was always promised it would be resolved, the district manager would be contacted, and they would make sure I got a paper Never happened So, on 5/21/I emailed and asked that all money be refunded that I had paid and services be cancelled asap I have still not heard back and not received credit for what I have paid The only charge I see on my account page and bank account is May 9, for $ I want this fully

Asheville Citizens Times makes it impossible to cancel a subscriptionI have a digital subscription and have tried several months to cancel and my card continues to get chargedNo easy way to get a hold of them ! Whenever you finally do they can't find your account and say a technical team person will contact you within hoursThat NEVER happens! When you do actually get a person on the phone they tell you they can't find your account but they sure can continue to charge you for one!!! Sometimes they will give you a confirmation number for your call then other times they say they cannot provide a confirmation numberThis exact same thing has happened to my daughter with her digital subscriptionShe has tried to cancel her digital subscription for months now and the exact thing is told to her every time she calls and her card continues to get charged for a service she has requested to be cancelled! I have finally resorted to putting a block on my card so they can not continue to charge the fee for something I do not want! This is absolutely the worst business practice I have ever had to deal withI am supposed to hear from the "technical team" within hours from today 1/9/let's see if that's going to happenWe do have emails with dates confirming our request to cancel

My husband and I have been getting the Citizen/Times for several years and this is the first complaint against the newspaper I called and talked to a customer service rep and didn't get any satisfaction concerning the cost of delivery of the paper I was quoted a certain price for the paper back in June and given credit for an payment that was debited more than we were expecting and after talking to the rep she also extended the new rate of $+ taxes till Jan Found out today that Citizen-Times debited more than they were suppose to again and when I called them was told that the rate was $for the Sunday and Wednesday papers and they had nothing that we were suppose to have a lower rate till JanSo I cancelled the paper once again, every time I cancel the paper because of the rate increase they send a e-mail and offer the paper at a the lower rateI'm tired of the back and forth of the Citizen/Times

I have to call, e-mail, chat, each week since November Am promised that they will reach out to carrier, DM, extend credit, etcWe still only get THREE papers instead of FOURI don't understand why if they really cared, I would still have to take time out of my day to report this and there is NO FOLLOWUPObviously the carrier's boss does not followup to make sure that the carrier is delivering FOUR papers, not one, not three, but FOURIt's the same each week!!! Credit on account not correct
We have an account for my mother-in-law so that she can receive the daily paper With the most recent snow and inclement weather, the paper was not delivered for several days When talking on the phone with customer service, they told me they would issue a credit of $cents for each missed issue I told them they billed me more than that for each issue and they said they only do the $cents because the "customer" has access to the online version I told them my mother-in-law does NOT has internet access and at 84-years old, has no interest in an online version When I asked to receive full credit back the representative told me there was nothing she could do That of course is BS It seems to be a scam that they charge more than $per issue, but they don't want to give you the full amount back
