SRS was highly recommended to us by Integrity Public Adjusting. The owner of SRS gave a very good sales pitch using the horrible experience he had with sinkhole contractors on his own home; the reason he started this business. He made many promises, one of which was that our house would be completely restored to pre-sinkhole condition by the time they were finished & that we would be very pleased with the results. We weren't pleased at all. SRS did a great job with the compaction & chemical grout. Their team was exceptional. HOWEVER, we also hired them for our cosmetic repair and what a mistake that was. First of all, the project manager they assigned to our project didn't have a clue how to manage the project. It took over 14 months to complete what should have been done in only a few months, even with the extra approvals they had to get from the insurance company. The subcontractors they used were subpar at best. We had to constantly monitor their work & have some of it redone. Most of the time, the redo ended up looking worse than the original repair. The subcontractors for SRS damaged or broke many things during the repair process. Even though we brought this to our project manager's attention, SRS refused to pay for any of it. SRS does not have their cosmetic warranty in writing & refused to send us a letter stating what it was. They told us verbally & when we tried to have them fix some shoddy work, they told us we had to hire an engineer before they would even come out to look. SRS also promised to give us release of liens from all the subcontractors that worked on our property. We received a few, but when we contacted the owner for help getting the rest, we received an email from him stating that they already spent too much time on our project and if we want the release of liens from the other subcontractors, we would have to contact them ourselves. We do not recommend SRS for cosmetic repairs or remodeling projects of any kind.
