[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Assumed Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:"Her needs are met" - [redacted] 's needs were not met, as the salesman, Sean led us to believe that they were working on obtaining this loan for her to purchase a vehicle and that she did not have to trade in her current vehicleHe obviously did not inform the business manager about this other vehicleTherefore, the payment amount they quoted to [redacted] did not include her tradeThat means her needs were NOT met [redacted] did not "lie on her application, buy another vehicle, or back out of the transaction." SS Auto is the one who lied about what they could do for her without her tradeJust because there was no Check Engine light on in her vehicle does not mean it had no transmission "slips." As Mr [redacted] stated, he is not a mechanicShe had taken this vehicle to a very reputable mechanic who said the issues she was having was her transmission and it needed to be replacedAlso, her vehicle was not disgusting insideIt may have been cluttered a bit, as she does have children, but it was not disgustingI think that is a horrible thing for a sales company to say - even if it was trueWhen I called Mr [redacted] , I did not say I wanted to back out of the transactionYes, I do want my deposit back, but we believe that SS Auto did not meet my daughter's needs and, therefore, the deposit should be refundedAlso, when I called Mr [redacted] , he did not ask me to have my daughter call himHe said she could call him [redacted] has not called them because she feels she will get the "runaround" like I got and she does not want to have to deal with Mr [redacted] , who is not a very nice man.? Therefore, I am still requesting the deposit be refunded since SS Auto did not meet [redacted] 's needsI'm quite sure we will not receive this deposit and that they will continue to say that [redacted] and I backed out of the transaction, etcbut I want it on record how they have treated us and that they will always say it is the customer's faultIf they have any decency and integrity and ethics and honesty, they will refund the depositUnfortunately, as I have said, I don't believe they have those things and that they will refund the deposit Regards, [redacted]

The first day I went there we went to test out the truck the salesman Dylan C [redacted] said he would get the cupholder, window,stains out of the seats,and put a new battery in it.a couple days later We signed everything and got to take truck home and was told when we come back we will get the things fixed first of all the said that it be done before we got there to take the truck home but when I call mica the main guy there he told us he didn't authorize it but didn't told us that he didn't authorize before we signed everything but he said he will check out the electrical problem which could be a battery starter or silnoid and said he checked out the tailgate now couple days later the truck dies at the drive in and we had to call a tow it cost $first of all when I call mica he said it wasn't his problem and he was being very rude and disrespectful then I decided to charge the battery but was told the battery good when we got it fully charged and put it in the truck it started and I c

[redacted] and Her mother came in to the Dealership and picked out a Ford Escape which she likedShe was in need of transportationApart of the neogotian process is that the customer to commits to purchasing the car if Her needs are met, in this case Ms [redacted] agreed to a payment on the Ford Escape to not exceed $per month since She was on fixed income, when then agreed and She provided a $deposit on the car (which would have come off her down payment) the receipt She was provided and signed for also explained that if She lied on Her application , bought another car, or backed out of transaction the deposit was subject to being no refundable, She agreed and if need be documentation can be providedMonday after the weekend upon further review of her credit there showed an open auto transaction listed as a secure acct and not an auto account, I asked about this and She stated She had a car loan, I asked for Her to bring vehicle down cause the Lending institution would require the loan to be paid off, I drove the vehicle on a designated route we use for trade ins, now I am not a mechanic but I do know when a transmission "slips", there were no CHECK ENGINE lights on and at the time the vehicle did not slip, outside of being it being thoroughly disgusting inside the vehicle had value and could be traded, whether I reconditioned the vehicle or not for purchase later (which I have a master certified tech and a full shop so if we found a transmission was bad we would fix it 100% before future sale)? The call I received from Ms [redacted] later that afternoon hours prior to the close of business is that SHE (not her daughter) wanted to back out of the transaction and wanted the deposit back, I explained to Her that unfortunately it didnt quite work that way ecspecially since Ms [redacted] was not on the loan, and I adhere to the privacy policy act...I asked Her to have Her daughter calll and tell Me that She was not going thru with the transaction so that I could tell Her to please reread Her receipt and see that She could lose Her deposit, I nor anyone at my Dealership received this call from [redacted] ...adhering to SS AUTO Inc and policy Ms [redacted] has months that She can either use the deposit as part of a down payment on another car or She can transfer to a friend or family member to use? I went in to purchase a Ford Focus I saw on the internetI went in on a Saturday test drove the car and decided I would like to buy the carI am currently financing a car through West lake and this dealer happens to use the same financial Institute I informed them I would like to stay with the same since I have had a smooth interaction with them for the last months, SS auto agreedOn Saturday West lake was closed and could not finish the credit/approval process so they stated I would have to wait until Monday to finish the processThey informed me that if I would like them to hold the car so no one else could buy I would need to put a $down payment on the car so I did with my debit cardMonday soon comes and they decided that they no longer wanted to use West lake and went with another finance companywent up to sign the paper work and they stated I would have my car on FridayWednesday rolls around and they state it has been rejected and went through another loan c

We purchased a vehicle in August where we were offered a warranty for an additional $on our loanBeing that we were purchasing a used vehicle and had spent thousands in repairing a previous vehicle, we acceptedSS Auto added the $into the loan and received payment from Mazuma Credit Union where we are making our loan payments toHowever, they never set up the warrantySS Auto was supposed to per our sales contract, put new tires on the truck before we picked it up, but they did notThere was an issue my husband tried to get them to fix twice, but they didn'tWhen we took it to our mechanic in December, he told us what was wrong and we took it to SS Auto to fix on the warrantyThey pretended to be corresponding back and forth with the warranty company in negotiations on whether they would replace a part new or usedAfter a week had passed and we had not received the truck back repaired, I contacted the warranty company myself and found out we were never set up in

First and foremost MrH [redacted] paid $for the Dodge He was treated fairly and given a great deal, he was given a discount of $ MrH [redacted] sat with the sales person during the negotiations and gave a laundary list of items that He wanted to have fixed (written on a we owe) its up to the Owner and or the GM on whether or not these items will paid for out of any proceeds on the transaction Mr H [redacted] has an idea that a year old vehicle should be brand new and if that was the case we would be a new car dealer not preowned The vehicle past a rigorous and mandatory Missouri Inspection Vehicles have wear and tear on them we cant predict whether or not a battery is going to go bad...etcAt this time MrH [redacted] has made such an episode of this we would prefer if he did his service somewhere elseWe have asked on occassion to call to schedule an appointment to have these items looked at He doesnt show up, and then shows up several days later unannouncedWe didnt authorize any of the items he listed on his we owe......He can seek His service somewhere else

I purchased a classic auto from this dealer that was represented as a restored vehicle with an estimated value by an appraiser of $30, After experiencing problems with the vehicle when I brought it back to Wisconsin I called and asked for documentation of their work to restore it I have repeatedly called and sent emails with no satisfaction from them The car is in a restoration shop now getting the problems fixed which include replacing the shifter which was the wrong one for the transmission a new carburetor, the one on it stuck after acceleration and it was found to have stripped threads that were fixed with super glue Rewired because most of the electrical system failed to work Replaced front springs because they were broken and had been fixed with clamps and spacers Replaced motor mounts because they were rusted through Re-sealed windshield and rear window which leaked terribly It was represented as a low mileage car but that was far from the truth when the eng
