Recently my car started acting up, I went to a couple auto repair shops and was unhappy with pricing informationI then found Callahan Automotive in Mesa, AzAfter they diagnosed my vehicle, I was given a priceI was told that I needed a tune up, spark plugs, may need coil but at the moment he wasn't sure about the coilI then was informed that indeed I needed a coilMy car was diagnosed as a misfire at cylinder My car was ready after days of being in the shop, I picked it up...thanked them as he was very detailed with what was wrong with my carThe next day my engine light came on, I called Callahan's n I was told that sometimes that happens after a car has been worked on, he asked how the car was running n I told him it didn't seem to have a problemAs I was at a stop light I tried to accelerate n car wouldn't go, I came to a turn n the car did it againI called Callahan's n I was told again that sometimes that will happen n was reminded that my car was just worked onI was told to turn my car off n wait min n drive n see what happensThe car did not get better n noticed it would not go over 45-The next day I took it back to CallahanI was told the problem was the o rings, n was informed in detail why it was the o ringsHe said he wouldn't charge a labor fee as it was their fault n the part would only cost no more than $Mind you my balance on the previous day for work done was almost $I told him I would bring car on Monday as he didn't have both rings in stockHe said I'm pretty sure its jus the o rings n hopefully not the throttleMonday I dropped my car off a little after 12pmI waited n heard nothing the rest of the dayHe called at 6pm to inform me that the o rings didn't make the car better n he now said it was the throttle body n again explained in detail why this was the problemI got there to the shop to get my car as he said the part would now cost me $650-$My friend came n questioned him about what was going on with my car, he was respectful to the owner n never raised his voiceBut Callahan got very defensive n started getting agitatedWe decided to take my vehicle as I was not comfortable leaving thereI started my car n it wouldn't stay on, it was now 10x worse than when I dropped it offIt was not safe to driveI left without my car n very upsetHe again said it was due to the throttle body, but I told him that's not how I brought my car inThe next day he asked if I wanted him to order the part for $n I told him noI sent him a long message informing him that I trusted him with my car as I'm a single mom n that's my only form of transportationMy car was picked up a few days later by my friendsThey had my car running a few hours later n it cost me $0! It was not the throttle body or o rings as Callahan told meThey just didn't put my car back together the right way! There was a line not attached near the throttleI'm very disappointed in CALLAHAN AUTOMOTIVE IN MESA, AZBut I'm $in the holeThey mid diagnosed my car n I went days n days without my car due to thisHe was very in professional, would not answer my calls or text messages after my friend questioned what was going onI had to block my number, then he answeredPlease be careful with this place
