SSR Technology

Review: We shipped a SSR 1" mini drain camera with built in transmitter to SSR Technology on February 19, 2015 for repairs. On March 9, 2015 SSR emailed a proposal for repair of the camera for $650. On the same date we contacted SSR by phone and declined the proposed repair estimate and requested that our camera be shipped back to us. [redacted] with SSR told us he would ship our camera back to us on March 12, 2015. We did not receive the camera back and called SSR a couple of weeks later and were told by the shipping clerk that they had shipped our camera. We still did not receive our camera and we began calling SSR again. SSR did not answer our phone calls and did not respond to voice messages. On April 23, 2015, we received an email from SSR with a shipping invoice for $46.30. We continued trying to reach SSR by phone without any success. On May 19, 2015, we received another email with a shipping invoice for $46.30. These emails were "do not reply" emails, so we were unable to reply by email. We continued trying to reach SSR by phone. Our calls and emails continued to be unanswered. On May 19, 2015, we sent an email to [email protected] with the following message:

"i have recieved youe bill but have not recieved the camera. when I talked to the service tech he told me he had already shipped it. I dont have a problem giving you a credit card, if I know you still have the camera. I have called and left messages numerouse times and have not got a return phone call. 817-[redacted]. thanks [redacted]"

We have also completed "contact us" forms on their web site requesting that they call us. As of this date, we still do not have our camera back and our phone calls and voice messages to SSR continue to be unanswered.Desired Settlement: We would like our camera to be returned to us. We are agreeable to paying shipping cost if we can verify that SSR still has our camera and if we can be assured of its return. We are concerned that SSR does not answer phone calls, voice messages or emails.
