at her property. We performed the installation as requested, which was to rep lace 40' of stockade fencing

location of the old posts and installed new fence panels. Ms. [redacted] was completely satisfied.I was told the day of the job that the neighbor was going to pay for half of the fence. I told Ms. [redacted] that my contract was with her and that it is not our policy to
collect
from neighbors. We ask our customers to
pay in full then collect from their neighbors with whom they have an
agreement. But in this case, M s.[redacted] toldus the neighbor had a check ready for us.I noticed that the complaint was submitted by Mike [redacted].I never contracted with or have ever spoken to the neighbor, Mike [redacted]. However, his girlfriend
called me while my crew was working. The job was over half done, and the girlfriend called me on my cell phone and demanded that we tear out the fence, reset the post on Mr. [redacted]'sproperty and move the entire fence over because she didn't want a gap between the old and new construction. She was ranting and raving and then demanded that my
crew install pickets on the back fence of Mr. [redacted]'sproperty to close off a place in which her dog might get out. I explained to her that our service agreement was with Ms.
[redacted], not Mr. [redacted], and we were obligated to position the fence as she had requested. Also, we had planned to fill the gap between the old and new fence with pickets. I also t old her that we had not contracted to do any work onMr.[redacted]'s back fence and, even so, there was no way we could get back to that corner of his yard because of a hugeM ulberry tree that was in the corner.My customer, Ms. [redacted] was replacing only the back 40' of fence because
it was on the ground and had been for
about 3 years. She contracted with me to install the replacement fence with the post-side
away from her. The original fence between the properties was installed
with
the post-side onMs.[redacted]'s side. This meant that½ of the side fence had post-side toward her and the new half had
the post-side away from her, as she requested. We nailed up pickets at the intersect, so there was no gap between the old and new construction.I continued trying to explainthe situation to Mr. [redacted]' s girlfriend, but she just continued to rant and rave. Atone point she wanted me to give her an estimate to double facethe new installation, but after experiencing her explosive nature, I choosenot to deal withher.Once again, the installation agreement I had was with Ms. [redacted], not Mr.
[redacted]. Even so, we did listen to the concerns of Mr.
[redacted]'s girlfriend but her requests were outside of our contract agreement with Ms. [redacted];
and portions of her requests were not even possible to accomplish if we did, in fact,
choose to initiate a new service agreement with Mr. [redacted]. I would welcome
