St. Ann's Home for the Aged

Review: On [redacted]/14 My family and I went to speak with the administration at St. Ann nursing home to request a copy of their visitation policy. It was stated that we have been in violation of such orders but it was never addressed to us from them. To make things right we went there so that we can show our apologies and to ask for their policy so we can adhere to their rules and regulations. We were immidiately met with unwelcoming negativety from their staff which was new to use because since our mom been admitted there we assumed we had such a good repore with them. We further addressed that we are not here to visit our mother until visitation has been reinstated but is here to request any literature that maybe giving to this family that can help us understand their rules. Immediately we were told from a social worker named [redacted] or ([redacted]) thats not how this work and no we dont have to provide you anything and I want you to leave NOW! and she said it with a forceful tone from the first time she walked out from her office. We have been through a lot with mom civil battles involving one family member and have finally fought for mom to be brought back to jersey city to be with her family. She has been the victim throughout all this and this side of the family has fought to preserve whats best for her. Unfortuanetly mom has since been diagnosed with cancer and its now been 3 weeks since visitations has been suspended due to a complaint that was brought about over a rash family members noticed on mom and was addressed to their social workers as to why. This instituion filed a complaint with mom court appointed guardian in which he disclosed to us that we violated their policies but never addressed to this family when we were seen practically everyday there. In closing it will be a year May 13th since mom took ill and these matters has been in court, since getting mom back this is the most mom has seen her family since her stay at St. Anns she needs her family as we need herDesired Settlement: Since this is a nursing home that is suppose to accomodate people such as my mom well being and best interest we fill that family as well deserve to have been treated if with nothing else some type of respect despite what took place prior to.. I personally feel that St. Anns staff were terribly wrong on how they treated us specially what we already have been up against
