On 6//2020,I went to S&T Auto Repair & Body shop Inc after it was recommended to me by friend. I have BMW x6 2013 that has emission issues & needed ignition coils to be changed. I met Mr. K at the auto body shop he looked at my car & test drove it to find out what the problem is. Mr. K told me "don't you worry he will fix my car and it will cost total of $1100.00." He kept my car in his auto body shop and called me after 3 days stating that both axel needed to be replaced which wasn't discussed at all. I asked him why he said that the barring is stuck in the rotor. I asked him that when you drove it was fine and now you are mentioning new issues. However, He had cut off the axel already without asking me. Now he started to demand another $600 for the both axels even though both axels were fine. He kept my car in his garage for total of 10 days more or less and changed unnecessary parts that were unneeded, such as front rotor, barring, brakes and demanded me to pay him $2400 without giving me receipt of the work he performed. He did not ask for my authorization prior to performing the work or fixing new issues. And he did not fix the issues that I went to his shop for initially.When I asked him for receipt for the work he performed without asking me first, he said don't worry I will provide it to you soon. On 6//2020, I paid him $2400.00.On 7/*/2020, I went to pick up the car, and I was under the impression that he fixed all the issues however, after driving it for a mile my car started to shake and initial issues were not fixed. I called Mr. K to tell him, he said he and his mechanic took test drives but it was fine. Then he said rudely make another appt. and the issues the car had he was demanding another $5000. Then I went back to the person who referred me and explained to him that he took $2400 of check from me but don't give me my car no receipt. I was told he will talk to him.
This is a respond to complaint #***, ***. After discussing issue with the technicians, we discovered that the vehicle was purchased by *** from the auction blindly without any checking. Some of the issues diagnosed, was not at any of his knowledge. He was very upset, but it was to late and the vehicle couldn't be returned. *** specifically tell us what exactly what kind of work he want us to do on the vehicle. It was done. At the time he came to pick up the vehicle from the shop, he was advised that the vehicle would need more work but he didn't authorize the shop to do this work. The technician and *** went together for a driver test at which all the issues to the best knowledge of the technician was addressed. An approximate verbal quote to fix this issues was given to *** and he left. Please take in to consideration that we cant force any work on the customer without the customer being agree to it. We can suggest, and then follow the customer wishes on what them would like to do on the vehicle.
We never had any complaints from the public, we always trying to provide the best service we can to the customer. Specially this days, when the situation outside is very complicated for the businesses and the customers as well.

I spoke to Mr. K and I clearly addressed the issues with him. He drove my car and he knew there was emission issues and he did tell me he will fix it. However he changed rotators, brakes, axels without my permission and charged me $2400. He is scam,liar and fraud. He kept my car for 10 days. May I know from this thief as why he kept my car for 10 days? Rotators, axel and brakes takes maximum two days or less. He was supposed to fix emissions as engine was kept jumping but he didn't fixed it. When I came to pick up the car I asked him have u taken it for test drive? He said No but its good. As I drove off the engine started to jumping again so according to his CCD camera it shows I came back complaining but he sent another mechanic with me for test drive. We came back and I told him its the same issue he told me make an appointment and come back as I dont have time for you. K told me it will cost another 5000 dollars to fix it. I left the shop and took my car to another bodyshop where in total it cost me $500 and my car runs fine and I have no issues however K is a scammer,thief and robbed people by not fixing main issues and I wonder how this scammer gets good night sleep after stealing money from customers. There should b strict action taken against him and I will expose this mechanic on local newspapers as well as social media. In addition if u need more proofs his surveillance camera's speaks for it that this scammer is a liar and steal money.
