Review: I have been making payments on an account for years since my son was hurt and cared for at Red Bluff, CA to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. In February 2015, we received our last statement for the amount of $275.56. I had a little extra money and paid it off. I wrote check #4527 that was made out to St. Elizabeth Hospital and was cashed by them. I now have a zero balance on everything with St. Elizabeth Hospital. But for the last 3 weeks I have been receiving over 10 phone calls from ###-###-#### about an amount for $394.11 which not only has the $275.56 not been logged with them also 2 other checks that cleared in 01/2015 have not been logged. I went to St. Elizabeth's billing office and spoke with Debbie and see confirmed that we do not owe anything but there bill collector is still calling. WID# [redacted]. I am worried that the bill collector is not only harassing me for weeks but that they are going to ding my credit on something that I paid off and have all the proof of. I called the bill collector several times in the past 3 weeks and told them that I can fa the canceled check and also gave them the number to Debbie in the Billing Department ###-###-#### to confirm that we are paid in full. But I am still receiving calls.Desired Settlement: I want in writing from the hospital and their bill collector that our account is indeed paid off and I will not be bothered any longer regarding this matter!

Review: Over the past 9 months or more I have been trying to get St. Elizabeth Hospital to send me a monthly billing statement. Now my bill is in collections.

For more then 9 months I have been trying to get St. Elizabeth Hospital to send me a monthly bill. I would receive one for two months in a row and then none. I called and requested one and they said they would charge me for an additional bill and I said but I never received the first bill. I have written letters requesting monthly bills and sent them with my payments. But last week spoke with someone at St. Elizabeth Hospital because I received a collections notice and she said they have no record of the letters I sent in with my payments. She requested I fax them to her and she would try to get this bill back from collections. Well, it should have never went to collections in the first place had I received a monthly bill as requested. I am not disputing my bill just all late charges on my bill and that it went to collections.Desired Settlement: I would like all late charges taken off my bill and to receive a monthly statement.
