Review: On April 2014 I went to ER at Saint Johns hospital, I was released a few hours later and I got a bill for $17,000 dollars which my insurance paid $8,000 and the copay to me is left at $4,000. My diagnosis was deyhadration. I was only there a few hours and the bill is outrageous, I have tried several times to go online and I have called and NO Results. In fact I tried again yesterday and it would not accept my email address.. This bill is over inflated and I feel is fraud.. How can an ER visit for three hours result in $17,000 bill??? where they didnt do much.. I would like to resolve this by ensuring they bring down the cost to a normal charge.. how is it possible that they can charge such an astronomical price ??? its cheating the consumer!!Desired Settlement: I would like the issue to be resolved by the price to be adjusted to a reasonable amount.. This is outrageous.. $17,000 for a three hour visit????????????? Even though I have tried numerous attempts to resolve the issue by calling and going on the website , I get no relief and I been in collections. I want my credit restored..
