Mr [redacted] had his van towed in There was not a battery in the vehicle, so the 1st thing we did was put a new battery in It was low on antifreeze, so we added it and told the customer the radiator cap was bad We also did an oil change as per the customers request After customer picked up the vehicle, we towed it back in for a crank no start at no charge When the vehicle came in, it started right up We checked a few things, but could not confirm the customers complaint to be able to diagnosis the problem Customer chose to pickup the vehicle I informed him at that time the vehicle was not fixed and if he chose to take the vehicle, we would charge him for the next tow in He called the next day and said the vehicle was not starting again I sent a tow truck for the vehicle, but we were not able to retrieve it because of where it was parked in a dangerous spot that we could not get it out of the high traffic Since then, customer returned with the new battery and got a refund He is going to install a used battery I thought this customer may be happier with a different facility I think he left happy after getting his refund on the battery

Ms [redacted] called in for an estimate on a wheel bearing and I told her around $300 plus tax. She said she could get it done...

elsewhere for $150. I explained that was a really good deal and wished her the best with her choice to get the vehicle fixed elsewhere. Then [redacted] arrived with the 2005 Mazda 6 and explained the customer had the vehicle towed but he did not see a problem with the wheel bearing but noted it did have a check engine light on. We brought the vehicle into the shop and put up in the air to inspect the vehicle's wheel bearings. We found the wheel bearings were fine. We did find that the noise is coming from the front axle boot rubbing on the front brake hoses. Someone had bent the brake lines at the calipers and the hoses were rubbed into the fabric. I spoke to Ms [redacted] and explained that she would need both front brake hoses and the cv axle. She did state that someone had performed a brake job on her vehicle previously to coming here. She said after I gave here an estimate that the car was not work that and she wanted to trade it in for a new car. She said she would talk it over with her father and call us back. I had an child emergency that afternoon and had to leave unexpectly. I was informed she came in very angry that we had a check out charge to find her problem of $25.00. I also heard that Ms [redacted] was very irrational. Normally we do not charge any less than 1/2 hour labor which would have been $52.50. The $25.00 is a very minumal fee to investigate her problem. I don't know of any shop or dealership that does free diagnostic. She was also told her vehicle is dangerous to drive in this condition. I will not be making any further adjustments. I feel my staff handled the situation in the best way possible. Thank you.

I paid $400 to have my starter replaced elsewhere because they told me to go somewhere else but was told that was the issue. It has been replaced but the problem has still not been solved. I do not accept their resolution because I do not believe this is going to repair my vehicle. I want a full refund of the $1100 cash that I paid. I will send in receipts and invoices.

Mr [redacted] came in on 9-10-15 with a check engine light on. We performed a diagnostic with an estimate for repairs on our ticket XXXXXX. Please see attached. Mr [redacted] explained he was a senior citzen and on a fixed income and could not afford...

this repair. I suggested we look for a used part in order to save him some money. He came back and had the used part installed. He called and stated his check engine light came back on. I then had a tech recheck at no charge for what could be causing the problem. The tech found that the computer was causing a problem with communicating to the used part we installed. We then located a used computer in which Mr. [redacted] came back for an install. We installed the used computer and still had a problem. I informed Mr. [redacted] that we could no longer trust the used parts and felt he would need to install new parts. I also have enclosed ticket XXXXXX. We refunded $220.08 for the used part installed that we returned to the supplier. We have spent over 5 hours labor working with Mr. [redacted]'s Subaru and used parts he requested. Unfortunately the used parts we purchased are just as bad as his on the vehicle. We did leave in the used computer which is running the vehicle properly and gave back his original computer we took out at no additional cost for the used computer. When working with used parts it can be a gamble. I feel we have gone above and beyond trying to repair the vehicle with used parts. I am sorry but I can't do anything further than we have already done.
Sincerely,
