Customer called our company to inquire about a raccoon being removed. We gave her our price of $150 for initial set-up for raccoon removal. This covers the service charge for coming out and Each raccoon removed will be at a cost of $50....

Juvenile raccoons are removed at a charge of $80. These are standard charges in our industry that we have maintained for over 15 years. Customer stated she would call us back when she was able to come up with the money. She called over a week later on May 15, 2015 and stated that she wanted to start service. We sent our technician out on May 16th to start the service. Customer signed the contract for initial set-up and paid cash. Over the next week trap was monitored and rebaited. Husband called on Saturday May 23, 2015 and left message that he wanted the trap removed because the raccoon had not returned. On Monday May 25, 2015 we sent technician out to perform an attic inspection and remove trap. When technician arrived the trap was removed and returned broken. Husband stated that he had removed the trap from the roof and had someone else seal the entry point. Customer asked about technician about making repairs to entry point. He stated that under normal circumstances they may seal the entry point at no charge since raccoon was not removed but the trap was destroyed by husband. Technician stated that he would return trap to company for inspection. Company called husband about trap and he stated that he would go to [redacted] to buy a new trap and give to company. Company informed him that our traps are a commercial grade (not from [redacted] that must be ordered. He agreed to pay for damaged trap but he wanted us to give him the damaged trap in return. We agreed. Wife then called some hours later ranting and being unreasonable. She stated that they were not going to pay for broken equipment. At this point our business was finished and she never called back.
