Our Contract included replacing the roof and gutters onlyThe client didn't want to pay any out of pocket expenses and were told
by the insurance company no wood was coveredPlywood is something that is unseen until the roof is removedWe replaced sheets of plywood due to rottingWe let the homeowner know this and her Contract states $per sheet which totaled $but client chose to offset these costs by repairing her fence on her own insteadWe were unaware of a leak on the back porch but I will send an employee to look at it right away to repairGutters were installed on entire houseFascia wood is all wrapped with aluminum and unable to see if there is rotten boards behind because there is a closed soffitEven if it was rotten, it was not covered by insurance company nor was it included in our Contract as to the fact we were unawareI did let the homeowner know that our estimate to repair this was $200; this was my costs alone with no profit, however she chose not to do soI am happy to still complete her requested additional work for the $if she so desires

We feel the discrepancy on cost of plywood is still an issueWe were verbally quoted $a sheet yet roofer charged more than triple that, thus we had to sacrifice having our damaged fence fixed in order to make up the differenceWe felt backed into a corner on this issue, as the work was completed BEFORE we were told of the price change and conviently the roofer did not remember quoting $a sheet for plywood
We later found we could have supplied our own wood at Lowe's cost of $a sheetAlso, the leaks were told to the roofer BEFORE work started as that was the reason we filed a homeowners claim to begin withThat issue was NOT fixed as the proper water and ice membrane was not installed and not all of the rotten plywood was fixed, thus STILL leaking.We have had another Revdex.com A rated roofing company estimate the cost to repair what wasn't done or done properly by St Louis Premier at a total of $This is to include specifically:cutting out rotten plywood,put down ice and water membrane and re shingling, installing drip edge around gables, fascia replacement with cover and an area of step flashing fixedNone of these issues was brought up during the work process by St.Louis Premier Roofing and it's very possible a lot of it would have been covered by the insurance companyOur goal is to have our roof fixed properly so all current issues are resolved
