Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This company failed to advise me of the 12ft I requested and ordered would not pass inspectionI hired this company to be the professional contractor and advisor over this projectI am not a professional contractor,if my request for a larger door was going to pass inspection I should have been informed of this by this company before allowing me to pay for the change Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Stlouis Renovation has no problem with working with Ms ***.Weve already install the larger door at no additional costWeve paid for additional blueprints and permitsAt this point Stlouis Renovations has to be compensated for the additional work, Futher more the only way this problem gets address on behalf of St Louis Renovations is we get paid for additional workMs [redacted] was advised against a larger door !

Attached is the correspondence from the city hall showing reasons for the failed inspection. I was not advised by the contractor that changing the garage door would mean requiring new plans. I am sure the contractor would have not been willing to pay out of pocket for plan changes and permit for the door if it was the case. My assumption is that he did not know himself how to work by codes and regulations which is clearly portrayed in his poor workmanship I have submitted pictures to back my assumptions. Mr [redacted] is addressing 1 issue for which I do not mind paying For. (Header to accommodate larger door ) I do want the final inspection done as soon as possible.  I would like to know how he is going to resolve the other issues. I also want to stress that the garage door is not working at all. Does not let down due to bad workmanship. The door is already damaged. Thank you in advance
