adhere to glass, that's why it was leaking in the first place. Tech tried to scrape off and use scrubs to remove to no avail. Our tech knew he could not legally or morally install her defective windshield back into her vehicle so when customer would/could not answer the phone due to being in work meetings, he made the decision to install since she wasn't responding. Legally: if our tech would've installed her glass and customer got into an accident we would've been liable and open for lawsuit. So while the tech could've said he broke her glass and saved all the aggravation we endured but he has too many morals and did the right thing alerting her that he didn't break it. Customer states the contaminate may have been cleaned with Acetone, we do not allow our tech to carry Acetone due to the high Flammability of the product. This Audi manufacturer defect is a super rare occurrence and just happen to be this customers auto glass. We 100% back our techs actions taken for this customer and feel he took all the necessary precautions keeping this customers safety in mind as any good reputable employee / company would do.
