I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The bank notified the dealership, and we stated we would be there that friday am to pick up. The next we heard it was sold and was stated a deposit was needed but was not told to us until after the truck was sold. Do not want this to happen to another customer!!

Response to Complaint: ID [redacted]
This is in response to the complaint against us. 1 have enclosed transcripts of emails as well of dated and time stamped follow up from our sales person.
An email lead was received on a vehicle we had on 10-3-2014 on a Silverado. Our sales person spoke...

with the customer and then sent multiple emails with no response. On the call the customer stated he would be in “some time next week” to look at the truck. On Wednesday 10/08/2014 the customer called in and spoke with another sales person and asked if the truck was still available. The salesmen told him that it was still here. A bit later the bank called asking for the total. The salesman provided the institution with the total.
In our business we receive multiple calls on the same vehicles from multiple people. While I am sure that the customer had good intentions of buying the vehicle he had never saw the vehicle in person or test drove it. He may have had financing lined up but could have gotten here and not liked the vehicle or the vehicle may have not suited his exact needs or may have not shown up at all. The customer stated something to the effect “if I like it I will buy it”. If the roles were reversed and he came here and did NOT like the truck I am sure he would rescind the “verbal agreement”. It happens to us on a daily basis. People are expecting certain things and when they see the vehicle in person they may not like it.
As far as the resolution the customer is seeking I am not sure we can come to terms. We suggested he take a look at the rest of our inventory, and he responded with the exact quote(as you can read in the yellow highlighted email transcripts) “no thanks your inventory is xxxx other than the truck you just sold.”
With that being said I do not think that we will be able to to business with this customer. I wish him/her the best of luck in his vehicle purchase.
Thank you,

Review: Dealer made a verbal agreement to sell this truck to my son and I, both are names were to be on the bill of sale. The bank called got the check made out for the exact amount. My son talked to [redacted] the salesman and stated. As long as the truck is as described we will be there Friday to pick up. The salesman agreed. Today received a call the truck sold. Why? they stated needed a deposit, which was never made aware to myself or my son. They have no other excuse other than miscommunication. My son had a verbal agreement with this dealer and even spoke with the bank to get exact amount of check and arrangements were set in stone.Desired Settlement: Dealer needs to find suitable replacement for this truck that was promised in this verbal agreement. This was a nice vehicle at a price my son could afford, they made no attempt to help with this situation, just sorry about your luck its sold!

Review: Complaint Type(s) Customer Service Guarantee or Warranty Issues Refund/ Exchange issues Not quite sure how to even start this. I bought a 2007 Chevy Colorado off them on Memorial day of 2013. Their motto is "where buying a car is fun and easy." I would say my experience was the COMPLETE opposite. My father and I spent over 9 hours in the process there of buying the truck. After it was bought there was problems with it immediately. We have had the truck for about a month and a half and it was there four times. It also spent a few nights over there 2/4 times. It stalled on me on a highway and also the breaks locked up on me. Those were the 2 major problems with the truck. I told them I did NOT feel safe or comfortable in it and I did NOT want to take it back. They said they just don't take vehicles back. I thought it was extremely rude and inconsiderate. The only good experience me and my dad had there was the very nice sales man we dealt with Jordan Friday. My dad was there and wanted to trade the truck in for an equinox and they depleted the value of the truck $5000. We could not even get a trade with out them trying to put the screws to us again after overcharging the first time for the truck.Desired Settlement: I feel everyone needs to know the truth behind St.Marys chevy

Response of ID#[redacted]To Whom It May Concern:

St. Marys Chevrolet would like to respond to this complaint in three different areas.

First, we would like to address the issue of time. This particular transaction did take longer than our average. However, there were a few circumstances beyond our control. One difficult circumstance that occurred was the issue of acquiring financing for our client.

Second, being the inability of the client to make a decision after we did acquire financing. At St. Marys Chevrolet we do all that is possible to make our process as expedient as possible.

Third, as far as the condition of the vehicle, when we took in the 2007 Colorado as a trade, we invested over $1,840 in repairs. The client was well aware of the mileage on the vehicle, which at the time was approximately 122,000 miles. The client was also aware that the vehicle was sold with a one month, 1,000 mile power train only warranty. Finally, the client did have problems with the vehicle shortly after the purchase. We immediately assisted her in numerous ways such as getting the vehicle in, providing her with a loaner vehicle, and going to their residence to retrieve the truck for service appointments. The service manager also extended the warranty for the client. We invested an additional $1,470 of non-covered parts at no charge to the customer. At this time, the vehicle is operating properly. We were informed by [redacted], who is the father of [redacted], and also the co-buyer, that his daughter is refusing to make payments on the 2007 Colorado. Therefore, in his words "I'm stuck paying for it." Buyer's remorse is rare, but unfortunately it happens.

I am completely dissatisfied with their Response. When my father and I told them we did not want the truck they were not understanding at all. All they cared about was the money. My dad did not feel comfortable allowing me to drive in a LEMON Vehicle. Wouldn't any father? The general manger said very rudely "we don't just take vehicles back". After hearing all the awful thing about st. Marys chevy after I bought the truck makes me wish I never went it there. Its a small town and people talk, haven't heard really anything good about them and they talk about remorse never happening with them. Ya right.

Regards,

Review: I recently traded two vehicles in on one new vehicle at St. Mary's Chevrolet. The two vehicles I traded had a net equity of $13,700.00. The dealer/salesman agreed to pay 8,000.00 by check directly to me and apply 5,700.00 toward the lease of a 2013 Equinox. After reviewing the lease agreement I questioned the dealer as to where the 5,700.00 was applied as my math only shows about 2,400.00 USD applied to the transaction. I,have continually attempted to contact said dealer via phone and email. The last contact I have had was on 5-2-2013, via email asking me to explain what the issue was again. So I responded. I have attempted to contact said dealer via email again with no reply.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the amount of 3,300.00 paid to me representing the amount that was falsely claimed to be applied to the lease agreement that was clearly not.
