St. Nicholas Cleaners

Review: I gave the cleaners several cashmere sweaters needing dry cleaning. Two of the sweaters were identical styles but different colors, and one of the sweaters (the gray one) was returned to me shrunk to half of the size of it's original, ruining it. It also had two holes in the back which were not there before I had sent them to this cleaner. I brought both of the sweaters back to prove that the gray one was shrunk (next to the black which had been cleaned properly and was fine) and pointed out the two holes in the back of the sweater. The [redacted] denied his fault, and screamed at me saying I was a bad customer who lied to him. He said they don't even do the dry cleaning and that they send the sweaters out. I asked him for the contact information of the company who actually cleaned the sweater, and he refused to provide that information.

These sweaters are [redacted] and retail at $295 (before tax). He said that I lied about the value of the sweater.

I feel so upset to be yelled at and accused of being a liar. I have brought articles of clothing to this cleaner on a monthly basis for dry cleaning with no previous issues for a year now, so I was surprised to be treated in this extreme way.Desired Settlement: I want St. Nicholas Cleaners to take responsibility for ruining my $295 sweater, and provide a cash compensation for the retail value.
