Review: Travelers Insurance Represents Pa. [redacted]. for damages due to main line water breaks. In Sept. 2012 my home got hit with it's 3rd water main line break in 8 years. In 2012 my retaining wall in my driveway was pushed and started to lean due to the excessive amount of water hitting it from the main line break. The agent from Travelers insurance inspected this wall and said for the little it moved that they were going to due no repairs. He also stated that for me to keep a watch on it and if it moves more to let him know. I contacted this agent to let him know it's still moving and now he's blaming this movement on the harsh winter. If they would of approved the repairs in the first place, It would of probably been corrected and no further actions would be needed. This wall moved due to the water main break and not the weather.Desired Settlement: All I want is for Travelers insurance to pay to have this retaining wall torn down and rebuilt. No new materials will be needed except for some backfill gravel and possible a French drain replacement. I gave them a quote in the beginning of 2013 for $3900.00.

Review: I was set to purchase a property insurance policy through Travelers insurance for a home I was going to purchase on 9/21/2015 The sale ended up falling thru and I called and canceled the policy that day. Just the other day I received a bill for $ for $235.17 well, I logged into my account online and discovered that another policy was created AFTER I cancelled my original policy and that was what the bill was for. Someone at travelers created a duplicate policy for the same property, just with a different policy number. Simple error. My problem is that I have called travelers 5 times now and am constantly told that the issue will be taken care of and the bill will be canceled. Well, the policy is still in effect according to my online account and they still think I owe them $235 for their simple mistake. Also, I just received a notice saying my policy will be restarted. WHAT??? I want nothing to do with travelers and am mad at myself for choosing them in the first place. They cannot get their issues strait, even after I contacted them 5 different times. What is going to happen now I think is that I am not going to pay this bill, and they are going to try to send me to collections. Well, I am not ok with that at all. It is ridiculous that no matter what I do, Travelers continues to make every attempt to bill me and I think they don't believe I can do anything about it. Add this to the fact that we lost the home we were going to purchase. $235 is a tiny amount in my eyes, but I will not be paying this and Travelers will fix their mistake and it will not cost me.Desired Settlement: I want all policies in my name to no longer exist, I want the billing issue to be resolved so it will show that I owe 0$ to travelers for all policies that were opened under my name, and I want to completely sever my ties with travelers permanently. I have proof that I contacted Travelers and proof that someone at travelers acknowledge. If this gets to the point in which my credit is at risk, I will seek legal help; not for the little $235 bill, but for the negative affects this would have on my credit at the hands of travelers insurance.
