There are a few items on Mrs***’s letter that are untrueI watched *** during class through the double mirrored doors multiple times and my husband did as wellWe kept talking to my daughter telling her to pay
attention in the class but each class, she would end up doing by herself in the corner or apart from the class playing with her feet or her shoes or distracting herself in some other way, and the instructor did not try to get her to participate. Mrs*** did call me back immediately after I requested her to, however, it was late, about 8pm and I have three young children(7,4,18+months) that I was busy getting ready for bedI asked her to call me later in the week and did not receive any other callsPlease ask *** to show proof that she called me two other times since this seems to be a leg she is standing on to use against me in this debate. I’m not sure how Mrs*** knows so much about ***s personal progression(or lack thereof) in her dance class when she told me there are over children in her dance academy, how is she supposed to keep up with all of them? She says *** needed classes for it to be shown whether she was in the correct class or notThey recommended my daughter to go to the 7-year old class(you can see on my sign up sheet that I signed she was in the 7-year old class, not the 7-year old class) right at the startI could tell at the parent observation week that *** was quite a bit behind the other girls and when I called Mrs*** to speak about this, apparently ‘Mrs*** already knew my concern(she stated during our phone call before I reached out to the Revdex.com), but yet she did not try to speak to me in person at any of the weeks following nor did she bring up to me in form of communication that *** should moved to a younger class. By the time my husband and I decided *** wasn’t getting anything out of the ballet class, she had lost any interest she had in dance because the “professional” instructors at the “30+ years of experience” academy could not see after classes that my daughter was in the wrong class and not progressing at the same rate as the other girls.It wasn’t until I called and complained that suddenly, Mrs*** had the time and resolution for *** to have a better learning experience at the academy. This entire experience has shown me that StPeter’s Academy of Dance is only out to make a dollar and not to teach and form young dancersMaybe other parents have moved on without noticing that the studio used them for the tuition they paid or maybe Mrs*** has taken on too many kids to where she can’t give them the proper amount of attention or maybe she charges parents too much for monthly tuition without delivering an equal amount of trainingMaybe other parents haven’t complained because they don’t have the timeI’m not sure why the academy supposedly hasn’t had a single complaint in years but there is a first time for everything. Mrs*** and her assistant did not handle my complaints professionallyInstead they both argued with me and gave me excuse after excuse and I cannot believe I have had to resort to contacting the Revdex.com just to get my voice heardThis studio is taking parents’ trust and using it to make moneyThis is awful and I am grateful I have another option to go through the bureau rather than my voice be drowned out by a business owner who cannot handle critiques or complaints in a graceful and professional manner.
