The contractor has come to my house and completed the work.

Contractor was contacted by local police, and after speaking with them, returned the money.

Review: This company was hired in March to replace the gutters in my home. The contractor required a check payment of $2,500 for the job, which was provided, and cashed on April 1, 2014. They were supposed to start the job April 5th, but did not show, nor contact us. Two weeks later, after emails and phone calls to the company, they claimed to not have contact info, and that they would come out April 26th to complete the work.

They did not show for that date, and have not replied to phone calls and emails requesting refund.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to return the $2,500, and provide interest fees on the money collected in bad faith.

Review: Stable Contracting placed a new roof on my back balcony and main roof last year. The back room leaks into my kitchen on top of the refrigerator when it rains. I contacted [redacted] in the past x2 he came and supposed to fixed the roof as the warranty stated. It is still leaking now. The paint on my newly painted ceiling is buckling in the area where the leak is at.Desired Settlement: I like for him to repair my roof properly as he should and can do.

Review: New roof was put on in November 2011 with 10 year warranty. Severe leakage noticed December 2013, and roofer was contacted. He did arrive within the week and sent pictures of the work performed. However, less than two months later, we still had more leakage, but not as bad. Roofer was contacted again Feb 16, 2014, and many times since then. We've been told "the roof is perfect". We've been told that "all row homes in [redacted] leak". We've been told we need to install a heating element in our drainpipe to prevent ice buildup. We've been told that we need masonry work. We've been told that our homeowner's insurance will cover all interior damages. Above all else, we keep getting told he will be out "by the end of the week", but to our knowledge, he has not been here since December 2013.Desired Settlement: All we want is a roof that doesn't leak. We have damage to the ceilings, laminate floors, and walls, on both 1st and 2nd floors, as well as the doorway to the deck on the 1st floor. These things were repaired after the first leak in 2011, and now once again have to be repaired/replaced. I fail to see how these things can be repaired again when we still have water leaking in. Obviously something is damaged up there. All row homes don't leak. If there is a problem with the masonry, show me pictures of the damage so that we can get the appropriate person in here, because I fail to see how a problem in the wall would cause a leak 2 feet away from the wall.

Review: I purchased the property in November of 2013. The home inspection showed the property needed a new roof. The owner at the time agreed to pay for and have a new roof put on the property. After the roof was placed I asked about the permit. I was never given a straight answer about the permit. However we were provided a 10 year warranty on the roof. The warranty states it is a leak free warranty. Two weeks ago I noticed a leak into two floors of my home. I called [redacted] from stable roofing and contracting @ ###-###-####. The mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. I then sent an email to [email protected]. I received a call back the next day and [redacted] told me he had a big job, but would call later in the week to set something up. He never called and I tried to call again with no answer, voice mail full again. I then sent a second email with no return call. I called and got [redacted] after about a week, but he said he would call to set something up and never followed up. I sent a third email after not getting an answer on the phone. This time I stated that I would be contacting the Revdex.com to file a complaint. I got [redacted] on the phone when I called four days later. He said he would come this weekend of 4-12 or 4-13. I just called him on 4-13 @ 4:00 p.m. with no answer. I was able to leave a voice mail stating that I would be filing a complaint.Desired Settlement: I am looking to have stable roofing and contracting honor their leak free 10 year warranty they provided. Now after how difficult it is getting them here. I am wondering if they ever pulled a permit or did a complete tear off like I was told. I would like my leak repaired and assurance that this won't happen again. I would also like, if possible, money for the leaking water into my home. I have only asked for the leak to be repaired up to this point.

Review: I gave Christopher M[redacted] a $1900.00 deposit check on March 15th, 2014.He cashed the check on March 18th,2014.He was arranged to come to my home on March 29th, 2014 to do the cement work I contracted him to do.He never showed up or gave me a courtesy call. After numerous phone calls and emails, he agreed to give me my deposit back.I contacted channel 3 and 6 to try and get some results in this matter. Every time I try to get in touch with him, his voicemail is full.I have copies of emails where he agreed to give me my deposit back, the work agreement, and the cancelled check. The last time I talked to him was June 16th at 7:43 am. He called me when I was on my way to work to tell me he should have some money for me that week. However, as of July 31st, Christopher M[redacted] has not further contacted me to fulfill his agreement to return my money.Desired Settlement: I seek the return of my initial deposit, plus the interest the money would have earned in the bank.
