Review: In 2010, [redacted], of Stadtmueller & Associates, did our taxes for 2009. In mid 2011 we received a notice from the [redacted] stating that we had underpaid our taxes by $7562.11. It stated that we had an increase in tax of $6001.00, an accuracy related penalty of $1200.00, and taxes on the error of $353.65. We immediately notified Mr [redacted] of the notice and he assured us it was merely an error in the distribution code on our [redacted] from [redacted] and he would take care of it. He generated a letter, which he sent to us and charged us $275.00 for, to send to the [redacted]. We sent the letter and they promptly rejected it and sent it back to us. They instructed us to send it to [redacted] for confirmation of Mr [redacted] assertion, on our 2009 tax return, that we were exempt from paying a penalty on an early withdrawal from my wife's IRA because I became disabled and qualified for hardship exemption. [redacted] was resolute in it's distribution code designation and refused to change it unless [redacted] called and gave his reasons for feeling we were indeed exempt from the penalty. We called [redacted] and asked him to call [redacted] and speak with them, but after several weeks, he still had not contacted them. We then asked [redacted] to contact [redacted], which they said they were happy to do. After several calls to his office, they got ONE response on their answering machine, which came well after they were closed and was never repeated. After hours on the phone with the [redacted] and [redacted], and with no resolution to this matter insight, we contacted Mr [redacted] via mail asking for compensation for our losses due to his error and received a terse letter in response stating that he would do nothing further, that he would not compensate us in any way, and that he was no longer representing us because my wife had been rude to him on the phone in their last conversation. I heard the conversation, and she surely was not.Desired Settlement: We would like the $1200.00 accuracy-related penalty, the 353.65 in interest we had to pay, and the $275.00 for the letter he generated to correct his mistake repaid to us. The total is $1828.65

Review: In September of 2012 I met with a fellow to talk about getting my taxes done. I gave him a 500. deposit to get started. I didnt hear anything back from him. I called and a different person called me back telling me to get my paperwork together & call him back. I did that & no call back. I called a couple more times and never got a response. I called they're Texas office and actually spoke with someone. they told me I needed to call the Washington office. After numerous more calls leaving messages I wanted my deposit back with no response. This is why I am asking for your help.Desired Settlement: To receive my 500 dollars back.
