This letter is in response to the complaint filed by Staffmark employee, Ms.[redacted] (hereinafter called Ms. [redacted]”). Please note that the Revdex.com (hereinafter called “Revdex.com”) correspondence shows the last name as reif, however the last name is [redacted]. Ms. [redacted]’s concern is that she was...

allegedly told she was suspended for 90 days for walking off a temporary job assignment. Staffmark appreciated the opportunity provided by the Revdex.com to investigate and follow up on Ms. [redacted]’s concerns. The investigation revealed that the customer had run out of various glove sizes for the refrigeration room. Only extra small size remained, and the customer did not inform Staffmark. When Ms. [redacted] left the assignment, the warehouse manager informed Staffmark she has walked off the job. The Ontario branch suspended her temporarily until they could speak with Ms. [redacted] directly and determine what happened. Subsequently during the investigation, the customer supervisor confirmed to Staffmark that Ms. [redacted] left because she was too cold. Her suspension was immediately ended and her job assignment history updated to reflect that the environment was too cold. The previous notation that she walked off the job has been removed. Further, the customer has since provided multiple glove sized, and temporary employees are advised to wear appropriate warm clothing when they accept the assignment in the refrigeration room. Both internal employees who dealt with Md. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] Klee—were coached and counseled about the important of listening to employees and responding to their needs in a professional manner, ensuring proper system documentation of facts, and to immediately escalate concerns to me as the Human Resources Director, or the Ontario branch Operations Manager Ms. [redacted]. While Ms. [redacted] has not called in or made herself available for work on the Mystaffmark employee portal since then, Ms. [redacted] called Ms. [redacted] on August 22, 2013 to offer a new temporary job assignment. Ms. [redacted] did not answer so Ms. [redacted] left a voicemail message. Ms. [redacted] did not return the call. On August 26, 2016, the Ontario Account Manager, Ms. [redacted], reached out to Ms. [redacted] to inquire as to her availability because there are temporary job assignment available. Ms. [redacted] did not answer, so Ms. Valdez left her a voicemail message. Ms. [redacted] has not returned the call. Ms. [redacted] is still listed as an active employee, and staffmark would welcome the opportunity to offer her another temporary job assignment that meets her skills, qualifications and pay requirements. If Ms. [redacted] is available for work, she should place herself on the availability list, or return the calls from the branch to explore job assignments. If you have any further questions or would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Staff located in North little rock is very rude they offered me a job 30 min later I called in turned it down becuse of my job I already had I said it want work for me at this time maybe if you have part time work that would she than said ok I will take you off in call you when I have a fit 3 or 6 months go by I called 2weeks ago she said we offer you a job in you didn't show I said no ma'am I turned it down in before I could finish she cut me off in said we wouldn't be a good fit they are rude in don't do there job.

Review: We have suffered a great financial loss due to Staffmark's poor record keeping and unqualified candidates. We employed Staffmark as a staffing agency to bring candidates on for the position available with our company.

I interviewed their recommended candidates and did not show any indication that they could not handle the job. Firstly, [redacted] seemed to be doing well and learning the position when I went on vacation. Suddenly she took a turn for the worse and abandoned the job. She couldn't even figure out who to call when the phones were not working. I contacted Staffmark and they apologized and offered a goodwill adjustment for us to pay half the invoice.

Secondly, we received [redacted] which seemed to be a good match as a recent college graduate. Furthermore, an employee of Staffmark vouched that she knew him personally. We started to see that he was being unproductive. I would continually have to ask him to stay off personal websites and what he was doing. I would have to give him a list of tasks as no initiative was ever taken. I called Staffmark and they coached him. We did not see any improvement and decided it would be better not having him as an employee. He was not notified of termination and still showed up the next day twenty minutes late with no explanation. I sent him home and Staffmark notified him on his termination. After termination, I discovered he was using our company resources to job search while we were paying him. We should not be paying someone for time spent looking for another job.

We were continually sent emails with invoices attached that we had already paid including the one that was agreed to pay half. The poor record keeping refers to the fact that Staffmark did not have record of our payments or the agreed lower invoice. They kept asking for payment on amounts that we had already paid. I have supplied a thorough report showing what we have paid and owe and they continue to request over $3000 in payment.Desired Settlement: We really should be owed funds but are willing to drop the matter if they have their attorney stop harassing us for invoices that we have already paid.
