I hired them to eradicate a rat problem in my attic 8/2018. They stated they covered all points of entry and removed all rats and traps in my attic. Fast forward a year and I had to ire this company for not doing their job. Refusing to spray the correct chemicals in my home (I have a daycare), not giving me proper notice to spray, (they are supposed to post a note 24 hours prior to coming) they never did, and they would show up mid week to spray knowing I have a daycare. I would send them away for them never to return. They monitored the rat issue up until we fired them and they stated multiple times the house is sealed, all rats are gone and traps been cleaned up. Two days ago we saw we have rats again. We had Western come out to inspect. There are 32 points of entry that Stafford's did not cover. The rat damage is so bad we now have to replace all of our insulation in the attic as its damaged, with feces all over. We have to have it sanitized on top of that due to the mess. Little back ground prior to hiring Stafford's to fix this problem we had just purchased the house in February and had a full inspection with no rat damage. So had Stafford's did there job fully we may have had a repeat of rats( we live in that area) not to the point I know have to pay 17k plus to fix the issues I hired them to prevent.
I spoke to the owner this morning who admitted responsibility but would only offer me the $541.00 I paid them to do the job they did. She says all the other 32 holes were caused by the earthquakes. Really? Her and her employee consistently said you only paid $541.00. I told her when I hired your inspector I said we will pay whatever the cost is to fix that problem and that was what was given to us. We promptly hired them and expected they knew what they were doing. We would have paid for them to cover the other 32 holes. She continued to offer me the money I paid the company and she apparently found my issue comical. She also did offer to come sanitize and I asked what good is that if we have rats? We can prove we would have paid any cost to fix our home as we have multiple projects going on to update the house. It is not like I said give us a deal.
I have attached the contract of the former customer, ***, ***. The contract is a 1 year warranty, and we have not heard from the customers from that home until April 23, 2020 concerning rodents. She stated she had just discovered she had entry points, by the new pest control company. I understand she has been doing remodeling and that sometimes will make new entry points. But after the one year time period and she never complained until now. I actually offered her the full amount of $565.00 refunded to her and her husband.. We also offer a disinfection service that we do after the rodent activity is confirmed finished and she did not take advantage of the offer..We also had two very bad earthquakes in July 4, 2019 , 6.4 and on July 5, 2019 , 7.1.They may have contributed to the shift on her residence.I am sorry that she is having trouble with the rodents, If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to call or email.
