Stage 3 Performance Reviews (2)

Review: In March of 2014, I spoke with [redacted], owner and operator of Stage 3 Performance about removing, replacing, and re-assembling the engine in my 1997 mustang GT and to get it running. I was told that this process would take a month, instead it took eight months. Once I was contacted saying that my build was completed, I made an appointment to come pick up the car on saturday November 29th. Once I got there, Mr. [redacted] was driving away. He sent me text message saying that my car was parked behind his shop and that the keys were in the gas door. I tried to start my car, but the battery was dead. So I swapped out the battery and the car wouldn't start. I tried multiple times to contact Mr. [redacted] and got no response. I had no choice but to call AAA and have it towed to someplace where I could take a closer look at it, I didn't want to leave the car outside all weekend. Once I was able to take a closer look at the car, we did a compression test to learn that I have no compression on all eight cylinders. I then made more attempts to contact Mr. [redacted] to see about a refund, and he then denied even receiving funds from me, saying that no such receiprt exists!Desired Settlement: I would like half of the money I paid Mr. [redacted] in labor back, since only half the work was done I deserve half of my payment back. The remove and replacement was done, but the assembly and build was done incorrectly and my engine does not start or run. Since I no longer trust his work, I will have to take the car somewhere else to be completely disassembled, inspected, and re-assembled again. A FULL refund would be best, but I would settle for half.

Review: The shop owner [redacted] said he will install and sell the car parts to me. I leave a check at$1400 and was told to come back week later. No parts so I was told to come back later. Then this guy stop reply message and answer phone. I finally drove back to the shop only found out the shop is gone and the owner dispeared. This was only two days after I last saw him. He told me to come back and we can install the parts two days later.Desired Settlement: Please return my 1400 dollars you took from me and apologize for your misbehaving!!
